D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Paid Search Strategist. The right candidate will be responsible for the strategy, execution oversight, and performance management of paid search campaigns across third party platforms. This role manages agency performance, ensures campaign structure and optimization align with business objectives, and maintains platform governance to support lead generation and traffic goals across multiple markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Oversee paid search campaign execution through agency management, including review of campaign builds, optimizations, and performance outcomes
- Develop and maintain keyword strategies, including non-brand, market-level, and community-level campaign structures
- Manage bidding strategies, match type governance, and negative keyword frameworks to optimize campaign efficiency and performance
- Direct campaign setup and lifecycle management for new market and community launches, including targeting, timing, and campaign sunset processes
- Monitor and improve quality score, ad relevance, and landing page alignment in coordination with internal teams and agency partners
- Conduct performance audits to identify budget pacing issues, structural inconsistencies, and optimization opportunities
- Ensure accurate campaign tracking, including conversion tracking and attribution alignment across national and division-level campaigns
- Maintain platform expertise with third party advertising platforms, including Smart Bidding, Performance Max, and responsive search ad (RSA) functionality.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align campaign strategies with audience data and broader marketing initiatives
- Maintain documentation of campaign structures, processes, and optimization standards
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field
- 3+ years of paid search experience in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising
- Experience managing agency relationships and campaign performance at scale
- Advanced knowledge of paid search platforms, bidding strategies, keyword management, and campaign structure
- Proficiency in data analysis to evaluate performance and optimize campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to interpret campaign data and implement performance improvements
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form or via DRH applications
- Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
- The noise level is generally moderate

- Experience managing multi-market or multi-location campaign structures
