Paid Media Associate (Temporary)

We Realize Potential in Your Story

We are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Paid Media Associate to join our Paid Media team - Is this your next opportunity?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, client-first Paid Media Associate who is passionate about social video strategy, paid social advertising, and audience growth frameworks, with a heavy emphasis on YouTube growth and Google Ads. You will support client relationships, help build data-driven media plans, align Google Ads and paid social campaign objectives with client KPIs, and evaluate creative assets.

This is a strategy-first, client-focused role: you will focus on client communication, presentation decks, media planning, and tasking internal media buyers and execution teams rather than managing ad setups directly, though a foundational background in hands-on campaign execution (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, etc.) is a huge plus! We need someone highly organized, deeply curious, collaborative, and driven by client success—someone who can hit the ground running, loves testing new ideas, and thrives on helping scale our client partnerships efficiently.

This is a temporary role. This assignment is currently anticipated to begin in October 2026 and continue through December 2026, however the length of assignment could change depending on business needs.

How You Will Spend Your Time

Strategy & Media Planning (Core Focus)

  • Campaign Structuring: Collaborate with strategists to build media plans and blended campaign structures aligned with client KPIs and audience acquisition objectives.
  • Creative & Spec Evaluation: Review client video assets, evaluating aspect ratios, lengths, and messaging against Google Ads objectives to ensure creative aligns with strategy before launch.
  • A/B Testing & Innovation: Identify opportunities to test new creative formats, messaging, and audience targeting to uncover fresh avenues for client success.

Client Management & Communication

  • Day-to-Day Client Service: Serve as a key day-to-day strategic contact for brand accounts, managing client communications and leading regular status updates.
  • Data-Driven Storytelling: Translate performance metrics into clear presentation decks and reports that highlight campaign wins and actionable insights.
  • Account Adaptability: Monitor shifting client priorities and work with internal teams to pivot media plans smoothly as goals evolve.

Execution Oversight & QA Process

  • Cross-Functional Tasking: Task, delegate, and organize deliverables across internal media buying teams, ensuring projects stay on schedule without directly managing ad platform setups.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Perform rigorous QA across all campaign deliverables, media plans, and creative specs to maintain execution accuracy.
  • Scalable Workflows: Execute task delegation in an organized, scalable manner that keeps team output high and eliminates operational bottlenecks.

Insights & Portfolio Growth

  • Platform Expertise: Stay current on YouTube and paid social trends, ad formats, and feature updates to share insights with internal teams and clients.
  • Account Expansion Support: Assist senior team members in identifying organic growth and campaign expansion opportunities within your client portfolio.

What You Need To Succeed

Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

Core Qualifications & Technical Capabilities

  • Agency / Publisher Background: 1–2 years of experience at a digital/social media agency, publisher, or creator network with exposure to paid social strategy and audience acquisition.
  • YouTube & Google Ads Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of YouTube channel growth, Google Ads campaign objectives, and video asset specifications (aspect ratios, video lengths, ad formats).
  • Client-First & Goal-Oriented Focus: Demonstrated focus on client success, with a track record of driving campaign goals, testing fresh creative/targeting ideas, and identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Detail & QA Obsession: Exceptional attention to detail with a strict commitment to Quality Assurance (QA) across campaign plans, client decks, and creative specs.
  • Data-Driven Storytelling: Ability to analyze raw performance metrics and translate numbers into clear, compelling visual stories and deck presentations for clients.
  • Process-Minded Task Delegation: Process-oriented approach with the ability to follow established workflows, efficiently task internal media buyers, and keep deliverables moving smoothly.

Bonus Skills & Personality Traits

  • Collaboration & Agility: Approachable, highly collaborative team player with strong communication skills, fun energy, and the flexibility to pivot quickly when client priorities shift.
  • Hands-on Platform Background: Direct experience setting up, launching, or managing campaigns in Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager is a strong plus, though hands-on execution is not a primary duty.
  • Multi-Platform Familiarity: Exposure to paid social advertising across additional channels like TikTok, Meta, or Pinterest.

Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
