Network Growth Marketing Manager
NOCDAbout The Role
As the leading specialty virtual behavioral health provider, NOCD is focused on expanding access to effective, evidence-based treatment by building a world-class network of specialized therapists. Growing that network starts with reaching the right clinicians and giving them a compelling reason to build their careers with NOCD.
NOCD is looking for a Network Growth Marketing Manager to build and scale the marketing engine that drives therapist applications and fuels the growth of our clinical network. This is a builder's role for someone who is energized by ambitious growth targets, comfortable starting from an early-stage foundation, and excited to turn ideas into repeatable acquisition channels.
As the Network Growth Marketing Manager, applications submitted will be your primary KPI. You'll own the strategy behind how we attract therapists to NOCD—from employer brand and content to acquisition channels, campaigns, conversion optimization, and creative testing. You'll assess what's working today, identify where the biggest opportunities exist, and build the programs needed to consistently deliver against weekly and monthly application goals.
You'll work closely with Recruiting, Network Growth, Clinical, and creative partners to understand the clinicians we need to reach, what matters to them, and how to translate that into marketing that converts. You'll have the opportunity to test new channels, develop clinician-focused content and campaigns, strengthen NOCD's reputation as a destination for specialized therapists, and use data to continuously improve performance.
This role is ideal for someone who wants ownership rather than a predefined playbook. You'll have clear goals and close cross-functional partners, but significant autonomy in determining how we get there. We're looking for someone who can move quickly between strategy and execution, learn from the data, and build a scalable growth engine that directly expands access to life-changing care.
What You'll Own:
Top-of-funnel strategy & volume:
- Applications submitted is your main KPI. You'll assess the current state of the funnel, identify the gaps, and design and build the marketing engine (organic, content, and brand) needed to hit clear monthly and weekly growth targets, not just run the version that exists today.
Employer brand & awareness:
- Build network reputation as the destination employer for specialized therapists and related conditions, starting largely from the ground up, through content, campaigns, testimonials, and channel presence that resonate with clinicians.
Content strategy:
- Develop and execute a content marketing strategy (video, social, email, landing pages, testimonials, clinician stories) that speaks directly to therapist pain points, career goals, and values.
Channel strategy & management:
- Identify, test, and build out acquisition channels (paid social, SEO/organic, job boards, programmatic, communities, partnerships, referral, events), including channels we aren't in today, to diversify and de-risk the applicant pipeline.
Conversion rate optimization:
- Continuously test and improve every step of the top-of-funnel journey through ads, social creatives, and landing pages to increase conversion from impression to submitted application.
Data & reporting:
- Build and define what good funnel performance looks like and build dashboards and reporting to track it by channel, campaign, and creative; use data to inform weekly/monthly decisions.
Creative development & testing:
- Partner with design/creative resources to develop and rapidly test new creative concepts, messaging, and formats.
Cross-functional partnership:
- Work closely with Recruiting, Network Growth, and Clinical leadership to ensure marketing messaging reflects real applicant experience and evolving hiring priorities (geography, specialty, licensure needs).
Budget management:
- Build the case for, then own and optimize, marketing spend across channels to maximize cost-per-application efficiency while hitting volume targets.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, with a track record of building (not just owning or maintaining) top-of-funnel or demand generation programs — talent marketing, growth marketing, or consumer acquisition marketing all considered.
- Demonstrated ability to construct a strategy from an ambiguous or early-stage starting point — you can point to a time you built a channel, program, or function where no clear playbook existed yet, rather than only having improved on an established one.
- Proven experience in content marketing. With the ability to conceive, brief, and ship content that converts, not just content that looks good.
- Strong conversion rate abilities: Comfortable running A/B tests, interpreting funnel data, and translating insights into action, even with incomplete data or immature tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to take a channel or program from zero or early stage to a reliable, repeatable growth engine — this is a builder's role first, an optimizer's role second. Strong analytical skills: Comfortable in dashboards and spreadsheets, and able to tell a clear story from the data, including data you had to help define or structure yourself.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to set and sequence your own roadmap rather than execute against one that's handed to you.
- A fast-paced, high-agency operating style with ability to move quickly, and adapt to shifting priorities, and don't work productively without heavy oversight or an existing playbook .
- Highly organized and responsive.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in healthcare, talent acquisition/recruitment marketing, or high-growth startup environments is a strong plus.
- Fluency with paid and organic acquisition channels a plus.
