Overview

The Media Supervisor, Programmatic is responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing programmatic media campaigns that drive client business results. This role partners with internal teams and clients to execute data-driven media strategies across display, video, CTV, streaming audios, etc. The Media Supervisor oversees campaign performance, provides strategic recommendations, manages day-to-day client communication, and supports the growth and development of junior team members. This role requires strong programmatic expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute media strategies aligned with client goals and objectives.
  • Build media recommendations, audience strategies, and investment plans across digital channels.
  • Manage campaign setup, launch, pacing, optimization, and reporting.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve results.
  • Partner with publishers and media vendors to identify opportunities, added value, and innovative solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media partners and stay informed on marketplace trends.
  • Collaborate with strategy, analytics, creative, social, search, and account teams to support integrated media plans.
  • Present performance updates, insights, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop reports, campaign recaps, and presentation materials.
  • Ensure quality control across media plans, reporting, and campaign execution.
  • Support budget management, forecasting, billing reconciliation, and financial tracking.
  • Mentor Media Planners and Associates while providing day-to-day guidance.
  • Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in programmatic media, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Experience planning, buying, and optimizing programmatic campaigns across display, video, CTV, and digital audio.
  • Hands-on experience with DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon DSP, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of audience targeting, data strategies, and programmatic buying fundamentals.
  • Experience managing campaign pacing, budgets, optimizations, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience presenting media plans and campaign performance to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Compensation Range: USD $75,050.00 - USD $115,024.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
