Position Summary: Community Care Plan, the health plan with a heart, is a hospital-owned Provider Service Network for members enrolled in Medicaid, Florida Healthy Kids, sponsored programs, and self-insured employee health plans. At Community Care Plan (“CCP”), we strive every day to promote healthier communities and be the driving force to ensure that every community has access to high quality affordable healthcare.

The Marketing Social Media Specialist is a professional dedicated to advancing CCP’s mission by increasing the visibility and engagement of social media content by creating meaningful content and monitoring results. This position will support the Director of Communications and Marketing in ensuring successful implementation of marketing strategies and tactics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, creates, and publishes daily social media content (original text, images, video, etc.) based on research and collaboration with the marketing team and other departments, and social media calendar
  • Monitors all user-generated comments and messages
  • Maintains social media schedules
  • Continuously improves social media content through the analysis of social media insights and metrics
  • Assists with the development, editing, and distribution of internal and external communications
  • Assists with the creation and enhancement of manuals, newsletters, notices, etc.
  • Provides support for marketing initiatives, including creating or editing artwork for promotional items, tracking of marketing projects, and preparing files for review and approval

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Three to five years of experience in marketing and/or social media, ideally marketing to women/mothers ages 18-44
  • Working understanding and experience with digital and social media marketing
  • Experience developing and/or supporting efforts that build and nurture a strong social media presence
  • Outstanding communications and presentation skills; with particular emphasis on writing skills and active listening (proven ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with various cross-functional partners, stakeholders, and senior management). Knows how to summarize and communicate key points.
  • Professional maturity, confidence, and competence.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, with the ability to conceptualize targeted social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Excellent design (photo/video/text), writing, presentation, editing, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of online marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
  • Experience in PowerPoint, Publisher, InDesign, and MailChimp preferred, with the ability to create both print and electronic media representative of Community Care Plan.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills: proven abilities to manage multiple, often complex, and sometimes competing, objectives, goals, and other priorities to an effective and efficient conclusion
  • Outstanding partnering and collaboration skills: has exceptionally strong and highly effective working relationships with internal and external partners/stakeholders.

Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. The company reserves the right to change the work schedules based on the company needs.
