Full Time | $22.00–$25.50 per hour

Do you enjoy creating promotional materials and working with the details that make advertising accurate? Hansen’s IGA Markets is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support advertising and promotions across our 15 stores.

In this role, you will use Excel to organize weekly ad information, Canva to create promotional graphics, and digital marketing tools to share offers with customers. We are looking for someone who is creative, organized, careful with details, and dependable about meeting deadlines.

Pay based on Excel and data skills, Photoshop or Canva design ability, and grocery retail knowledge. Reports to the Senior Director of Marketing & Margin.

Help bring Hansen’s IGA promotions to life across our 15 stores. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented team member who can work confidently with spreadsheets, create clear promotional materials, and keep weekly advertising accurate and on schedule.

What you will do as Marketing Coordinator

Coordinate weekly print and online ads, maintain the master Excel ad file, and upload verified information to the digital ad portal.

Proofread prices, product descriptions, package sizes, purchase limits, coupon dates, and links before promotions go live.

Create store flyers, event posters, digital signs, Grocery TV graphics, and social media content in Photoshop or Canva using company brand standards.

Schedule and verify promotional content across digital displays and social media; prepare weekly loyalty emails through AppCard.

Monitor social media messages on scheduled workdays and route customer questions, concerns, donation requests, and sponsorship inquiries to the appropriate store or leader.

Work with store and department leaders to confirm event details and product availability, manage production deadlines in Outlook, and correct advertising errors promptly.

Qualifications: Skills for success as Marketing Coordinator

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, accurate data entry, and careful proofreading.

Ability to independently create polished, easy-to-read promotional designs in Photoshop or Canva.

Understanding of grocery products, retail pricing, seasonal promotions, and customer expectations.

Clear communication, reliable follow-through, and the ability to manage several projects and firm weekly deadlines.

Comfort learning digital advertising, social media, and loyalty marketing tools.

Work schedule

40 hours per week. The core schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, plus a required Saturday morning ad audit completed by 10:00 a.m. Wednesdays and Sundays are generally off, with rotation as needed. Flexibility is required for weekly ad production and local store weekend events.
