MONEYME is a founder-led digital lender and Certified B Corporation™. We challenge the traditional ways of credit and simplify the borrowing experience with digital-first experiences that meet the needs of modern consumers. We offer a range of fast, flexible and competitively priced products that span our customers' credit lifecycle, including personal loans, debt consolidation loans, credit cards and car loans. We deliver unrivalled customer experiences powered by smart technology, speed and efficiency.

We are for ambitious Australians who expect more from life and the companies they engage with. We uphold a strong ethos of sustainability and hold ourselves accountable to the high standards of the B Corp movement. Our culture is energetic and driven, and we continually challenge the status quo. We are nothing like your traditional finance institution.

About the role

Do you enjoy the data and technical side of marketing? Building the audience, the automation logic, the personalisation that go into making a customer experience truly engaging? Do you want to be the person who gets to build those experiences supported by great people and the best tools?

The Growth team is responsible for customer acquisition, conversion rate optimisation, engagement and retention across MONEYME's core fintech lending products: personal loans, debt consolidation, credit cards and car loans.

We are looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist to be a hands-on builder of our lifecycle and CRM programs. You will work closely with creative, data, product and the wider growth team to turn strategy into multi-channel journeys that guide our customers from application to activation and beyond. You will then test and optimise those journeys, so they keep improving.

Working directly with our Head of Growth, you will help build a next-generation growth stack in a fun and fast-paced, ASX-listed fintech.

Who this role is ideal for

If you enjoy working in small, talented teams who move fast, use AI to scale their work and love to deliver great customer experiences, backed by data and testing. You will thrive here. We think a range of experience profiles could be a great fit in our team:

  • An Emerging Technical Marketer: You have at least a few years’ experience building campaigns in a CRM platform or working in marketing ops, and you’re passionate about tech and data and want to build those skills.
  • An IT, Computer Science or Data Graduate who’s proven their skills: You have a technical degree in IT, computer science, data science or business analytics, and have some tangible examples of how you’ve applied those skills and are ready to use them within the marketing discipline, where you can see the immediate impact of your work in growing the business.
  • An Automation Enthusiast: You naturally look for ways to work smarter, using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to speed up your workflows, debug logic and scale your output, and can show us how you've developed these skills.

How we use AI

We view AI as a force multiplier, not a team replacement. For this role, that means you are encouraged to be inventive with AI tooling.

Whether you use LLMs to troubleshoot a snippet of code, brainstorm variations for an A/B test, or speed up your reporting with a custom dashboard, we want you to use AI to reclaim time so you can focus on experiment design and creating incredible personalised customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Campaign Building & Execution: Set up, test and deploy automated multi-channel journeys across email, SMS, push and in-app messages within Braze, covering onboarding, drawdown, cross-sell and retention.
  • Data & Personalisation Logic: Manage audience segments, filter criteria and personalisation tokens such as Liquid, so messages trigger correctly based on customer behaviour.
  • QA & Testing: Run user acceptance testing before campaigns go live, validating tracking links, rendering across devices and automated data payloads are working as expected.
  • Experimentation Support: Help ideate and monitor A/B tests across onsite and in-app experiments to measure true incremental lift.
  • Tracking & Analytics Assistance: Support the Head of Growth, data and engineering teams in keeping our data layers flowing with data, and support with Google Tag Manager and GA4 setups from time to time.
  • Performance Reporting: Pull campaign metrics from various sources like Braze, Data Warehouse via Claude to analyse campaign and automation impact and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Copy Development & Creative Collaboration: Develop relevant, customer-focused campaign copy in partnership with the design and content teams, supporting shared processes and scalable systems that help the team produce, review and iterate copy faster.

What you'll bring

You don’t need to tick every box. We’re hiring for ambition and a drive to learn as much as for experience. If you have some of this and want to build the rest, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Platform Exposure: Some hands-on experience (up to two years) in a CRM or engagement platform such as Braze, Customer.io, MoEngage, Iterable or HubSpot, or in a marketing ops role. Graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Curiosity: Comfortable working with data, user profiles and logic. Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, SQL or how APIs pass data is a huge plus, but an eagerness to learn them is what matters most.
  • Analytical Mindset: The ability to look at a dashboard or a spreadsheet, spot a pattern, and talk through what the numbers might mean.
  • AI-Forward Approach: A proactive mindset toward using generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, code debugging and asset creation.
  • Sharp Attention to Detail: You care about catching broken links or broken logic before a customer sees it.
  • Self-Starter Energy: You do not wait to be told what to do next. Bring an example of something you drove yourself, at work, at uni or in your own time. We weight side projects equally with paid work.
  • Good Communication: The ability to collaborate comfortably with marketers on campaign ideas and engineers on technical data requirements.

Highly regarded, but not deal-breakers

  • Advanced Braze features such as Currents, the REST API or advanced Liquid logic.
  • Basic configuration of Google Tag Manager or GA4.
  • Familiarity with Python or SQL for basic data handling.
  • Prior experience in fintech, banking or a fast-paced startup environment.
  • An eye for design, making polished and engaging experiences, creative flair

At MONEYME, we value

  • Commercial Accountability: We make decisions based on business outcomes and data, not vanity metrics or guesswork.
  • Hypothesis-Driven Rigour: We form clear hypotheses, test methodically, and hold our experiments to high analytical standards.
  • Bias for Action: We move fast, build rather than brief, and iterate quickly on real signal.
  • Collaborative Ambition: We work openly across disciplines, challenge assumptions respectfully, and support each other in pushing boundaries.

What's in it for you

At MONEYME we back you to do your career's best work. We have a big year ahead: ambitious growth targets, a lifecycle program with significant untapped value, and real opportunities in marketing technology and experimentation. If you love to learn, try new things, and enjoy the thrill of making a direct impact in a fast-growing business that rewards and invests in its people, we want to hear from you.

You will work across lifecycle, martech and experimentation rather than focusing on one area. That breadth is rare this early in a career, and it is exactly how people become genuinely hard to replace.

Some of the perks and benefits we offer

  • Up to 5 additional days of bonus leave per calendar year after 12 months of service for eligible employees.
  • 3 days paid community service and volunteering leave per year.
  • 12 weeks of employer-paid parental leave, and 2 weeks employer-paid leave for secondary carers.
  • Quarterly champion awards and reward trips.
  • Mental health and wellbeing initiatives, health checks, skin cancer checks and free vaccinations.
  • Team social events, massages in the office, free coffee and much more.

Diversity, equity and inclusion

MONEYME Limited is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity, equity and inclusion. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply. We believe that the unique contribution of our employees is a key driver of our success. We stand together. Our diversity and inclusion give us an edge.
