Your New Role

Join AustralianSuper on a nine-month max term contract and help deliver strategic marketing automation programs that support member growth, retention and exceptional member experiences. Working across email, SMS, and digital channels, you'll design and execute personalised lifecycle journeys, shape campaign solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve the Fund's marketing automation capability. This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact while working with a high-performing team focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for members.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Design and deliver marketing automation programs that support retention and advice initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to create best-practice lifecycle journeys that support strategic business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end cross-channel campaign delivery, including journey design, asset build, implementation, testing and quality assurance.
  • Build and execute segmented email campaigns, landing pages and SMS communications using Marketo.
  • Ensure all marketing automation activity meets compliance, risk, privacy and security requirements.
  • Develop clear campaign documentation covering objectives, targeting logic, journey design and assets.
  • Experience building complex nurture programs and lifecycle models and optimising these through ongoing performance analysis and post implementation reviews in addition to identifying opportunities to improve member outcomes and achieve program objectives.
  • Utilise data expertise to support digital product teams with data integration initiatives, ensuring accurate segmentation and targeting through UAT, testing, and program enhancements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Member Experience & Marketing as well as Analytics, CRM and Technology teams to improve measurement, platform capability and campaign performance.

What You’ll Need:

  • At least five years’ experience in a marketing automation role.
  • Solid experience working with customer data, data models and the safe handling of data.
  • Strong experience interpreting briefs and translating business requirements into technical marketing automation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and MarTech platforms, ideally including Marketo, CRM and SMS integrations.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, relationship management, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, personalisation and dynamic content.
  • Experience working with MS Dynamics
  • Understanding of email deliverability, consent and preference management.
  • Financial services, superannuation or regulated industry experience.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical campaign solutions.
  • A degree in Marketing or a related discipline, or equivalent practical business experience, with Adobe Marketo certification viewed favourably.
