Based in Melbourne, our team brings the right audience to our brands by championing our tools, services and content across social platforms. We work in an agile, fast-paced environment where smart technology brings deep racing and sports data to life. Joining a collaborative team of content, traffic, and growth specialists-from journalists to video producers- you will actively engage our community and drive audience growth across our core social media and video platforms. We trust our people, champion workplace flexibility and foster a culture where ideas are backed and initiative is rewarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end marketing initiatives across social media, email and content channels to drive traffic and user acquisition.
  • Craft, proofread and edit high-impact copy tailored to each channel while maintaining distinct, engaging brand voices.
  • Assist in developing marketing collateral, basic design assets and video editing/production workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external media partners to deliver paid campaigns, ensuring creative assets are accurately trafficked on schedule.
  • Partner with videographers, SEO specialists, copywriters and product managers to roll out social campaigns aligned with commercial priorities.
  • Monitor daily performance, track key conversion and engagement metrics and produce actionable reporting to optimise future campaigns.
  • Assist in managing brand guidelines with the design team to ensure visual and tonal alignment across all customer touchpoints.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis, trend research and industry monitoring to keep content relevant and timely.
  • Liaise with external agencies and suppliers to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

Who are you?

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing or social media role.
  • Deep working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X and LinkedIn.
  • Practical proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign) and a solid foundation in video editing/production.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver campaigns that drive measurable reach, engagement and traffic.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with acute attention to detail, tone and proofreading.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, audience segmentation and email campaign best practices.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong prioritisation skills, high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines independently while collaborating across teams.
  • A genuine passion for modern digital culture, social media trends and audience growth.
  • A personal or professional interest in horse racing, greyhound racing, general sports, or the wagering landscape (desirable).
