About Cinelease
Since 1977, Cinelease has supported the film and television industry with lighting and grip equipment, production services, and studio facilities. Our reputation is built on exceptional service, industry expertise, and a commitment to helping productions succeed.
We are looking for a creative, organized Marketing & Social Media Manager to bring the Cinelease story to life through compelling content, thoughtful design, and engaging digital campaigns.
About the Role
The Marketing & Social Media Manager will manage Cinelease’s social media presence, develop campaign concepts, and create marketing assets that strengthen
brand awareness and customer engagement across our divisions. Working closely with marketing leadership, project directors, and internal teams, you will
translate business priorities into clear messaging and effective creative work. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys both developing ideas and bringing them to life.
An initial priority will be evaluating Cinelease’s social media channels and implementing a coordinated plan to improve content quality, brand consistency, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Own the social content calendar and day-to-day publishing, aligning content with company initiatives, services, events, and relevant industry conversations.
- Write and publish content tailored to each platform, manage community engagement, and connect customer inquiries with the appropriate teams.
- Monitor channel performance, audience insights, and emerging trends to recommend improvements and report on reach, engagement, website traffic, and
relevant inquiries.
Creative Content & Campaign Management
- Develop campaign concepts and stories that showcase Cinelease’s people, equipment, facilities, and services while supporting the broader brand strategy.
- Capture and edit photography and video, and create graphics for digital campaigns, sales materials, merchandise, and internal communications.
- Manage assigned creative projects from concept through publication, collaborating with internal teams and outside partners to coordinate priorities,
timelines, feedback, and approvals.
- Maintain consistent messaging and design across divisions and channels, including creative support for website updates and customer-facing digital
initiatives.
- Organize creative assets and ensure published content is accurate, approved, and respectful of usage permissions and production confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- At least three years of relevant experience in marketing, social media management, creative content production, or a related field.
- A portfolio demonstrating graphic design, photography, video editing, and social media content, with a clear explanation of your contribution.
- Experience managing business social media accounts and using publishing and analytics tools to guide improvements.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or comparable design, photo editing, and video production tools.
- Practical knowledge of camera operation, lighting, audio capture, composition, and editing.
- Strong writing, proofreading, organization, and project management skills.
- Sound creative judgment and the ability to manage overlapping deadlines, incorporate feedback, and collaborate across teams.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with film and television production, equipment rental, studio operations, or related business-to-business services.
- Experience supporting multiple locations, divisions, or brands.
- Motion graphics, basic animation, paid social campaign support, or website content management experience.
- A degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, film, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
What Success Looks Like
Success means a consistent, engaging social media presence; creative work that clearly communicates Cinelease’s capabilities; reliable campaign delivery; and measurable improvements in audience engagement and relevant customer interest. You will help establish an efficient creative workflow that supports planned campaigns and timely opportunities.
Why Cinelease
This role offers the opportunity to shape how Cinelease’s people, expertise, and services are represented across its marketing channels. You will collaborate with teams supporting film and television production and see your ideas become content used throughout the business.
