The Manager, Sports Content Marketing & Partnerships will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing materials and initiatives that elevate SiriusXM's sports portfolio, drive audience engagement, strengthen league, team and talent partnerships, and support key business objectives. This role will help shape the marketing strategy across SiriusXM's sports properties while driving cross-functional alignment and operational excellence. This position requires an efficient, well-organized strategic marketer, relationship builder, and strong communicator with experience managing high-profile partnerships, developing compelling narratives, influencing stakeholders, and bringing integrated marketing campaigns to life. As a senior individual contributor, this role independently leads complex campaigns, partner activations, and cross-functional workstreams, exercising judgment to resolve ambiguity, recommend tradeoffs, and deliver measurable audience and business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop integrated marketing strategies for key sports programming initiatives, tentpole events, channel launches, original content, and partnership opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Sports Programming leadership to identify marketing opportunities that drive listening, engagement, subscriber value, and audience growth.
  • Lead partner and talent marketing relationships across assigned sports properties, serving as the primary point of contact for leagues, teams, media partners, talent representatives, agencies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional planning across CRM, App Marketing, Social, Performance Marketing, Creative, PR, Events, Brand, Sales, and Product teams to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Create presentations, strategic recommendations, and marketing narratives that clearly communicate objectives, opportunities, results, and business impact.
  • Own creative strategy and development from brief through execution, including campaign positioning, messaging frameworks, creative feedback, and go-to-market planning for major sports initiatives.
  • Independently determine campaign approaches, sequencing, and stakeholder tradeoffs for complex assignments, escalating only when business risk or contractual exposure requires leadership input.
  • Identify and champion innovative marketing opportunities that elevate SiriusXM's sports brands, deepen fan engagement, and create value for partners and stakeholders.
  • Support marketing strategy and partnership activation efforts across current sports properties and emerging strategic partnerships.
  • Analyze campaign, audience, and engagement performance to identify insights, inform future strategy, and communicate recommendations to leadership.
  • Define and track success measures for assigned initiatives, including listening, engagement, audience growth, subscriber value, partner satisfaction, and campaign performance.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends across sports, media, audio, streaming, social platforms, and fan engagement to identify opportunities that strengthen SiriusXM's competitive position.
  • Serve as a trusted representative of the Sports Marketing & Partnerships team in meetings with external partners and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Track fulfillment of contractual marketing obligations across partnerships and ensure successful execution against agreed-upon commitments.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Business Affairs, and external stakeholders to streamline contract approvals, navigate rights restrictions, and ensure compliant execution across campaigns, talent integrations, and partnership activations.
  • Lead programs, campaigns, partner relationships, and cross-functional workstreams through influence; this role does not include formal people-management responsibility.
  • Travel as needed to support events, activations, and onsite program execution.

What You’ll Need:

  • Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex, ambiguous issues and recommend practical tradeoffs with limited supervision.
