Who We Are Looking For…
As a Manager, Programmatic, you are entrusted with the responsibility of employing and continuously defining innovative techniques in the online marketing industry. Your deep understanding of digital technologies and a passion for leveraging data to inform creative problem solving will be invaluable in this role. Furthermore, your active listening skills will enable you to understand client needs and effectively translate them into well-defined campaign objectives. As a Manager, you report directly to the Associate Director, contributing to the overall success of our programmatic initiatives.
What you will do in this role:
Possess expertise in media and buying-related technologies, including DSPs, DMPs, third-party ad servers, and manual exchanges.
Implementing and sustaining processes to ensure the successful execution of programmatic campaigns and contribute to the continued growth of the client and agency business.
Owning several programmatic campaigns for which you will have junior or offshore staff to support in stewardship, meaning you will own the project management and implementation of DSP campaigns to ensure seamless activation and performance of programmatic media.
Understand client performance objectives and develop segmentation and optimization strategies to consistently exceed client expectations.
Set campaign strategies, including targeting, bidding, platforms, data usage, downstream client funnel optimization and utilize data and results to make compelling arguments for increased client data access.
Seek out a strong cooperative relationship with multiple business counterparts (Strategy and Research Teams, Creative Agencies, Digital Vendors).
Being curious and open to investigating unique opportunities to reach the target consumer yet prepared to provide a point-of-view, recommendation, and alternative options to the various programmatic tools in the marketplace
Accountability for results and reporting, which can in part be defined as execution of the media plan; measuring media performance and optimizing site/placement after reviewing campaign results; offering tactical alternatives based on client needs and requests
Being a mentor to junior staff, delegating responsibilities that will simultaneously meet business goals and contribute to their development, creating timelines to help manage deadlines and time management; and providing directional and timely feedback
You are the desired candidate if you have:
2-3+ years of programmatic experience
2+ years in a management role
Relevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and Operational research degrees preferred. Master’s degree a plus
Strong knowledge of and skill using The Trade Desk, DV360, Yahoo DSP, Amazon DSP, Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint
Strong Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capability to derive actionable insights from Data
Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external partners.
Digital analytics fundamentals, including tracking & tagging, data management concepts including data management platform (DMP) activation, dynamic creative, programmatic buying, and remarketing
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and balance time across multiple clients, partner relationships, and internal initiatives on a daily basis
Exceptional narrative skills, demonstrated ability to craft compelling stories that engage the audience, convey complex ideas clearly in order to effectively detail a strategy, problem, solution or Initiative.
Demonstrates both good verbal and written skills. Is a good listener
Appreciation of the complexity of the cross-platform landscape and a thirst to continue learning as space evolves
Analytical eye to extract trends from large data sets and a creative mind to translate said trends into insightful learnings
Overall desire to be influential in junior/offshore talent’s media education is imperative; patience to simplify concepts to ensure their full understanding is required

$60,000 - $70,000
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
