Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As a member of the Digital Marketing team, you will execute digital marketing strategies across public-facing digital channels in the Youth and Young Adults (YYA) segment in alignment with stakeholders and business objectives. This role focuses on five key areas: digital marketing campaign execution, optimizing digital acquisition through public-facing websites, redesigning digital experiences to improve conversion, enhancing AEO/ SEO discoverability, and managing ongoing website maintenance and performance reporting. You will work collaboratively with Marketing, Business, Design, and Digital Product stakeholders to build and maintain campaign pages while monitoring campaign acquisition metrics and website performance.

What will you do?

  • Execute marketing campaigns by leading digital page builds and implementing strategic recommendations across available digital marketing channels.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance through analytics platforms; identify optimization opportunities and track campaign acquisition metrics.
  • Maintain website functionality and content across desktop, tablet, and mobile channels in alignment with Digital Marketing objectives.
  • Analyze digital funnels, identify performance gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance digital client experience.
  • Pull and present performance reports, dashboards, and campaign insights to marketing and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing team members, Marketing, Business, Design, and Digital Product partners, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to achieve campaign objectives and optimize website performance.
  • Support A/B testing and personalization initiatives to improve campaign performance and user experience.
  • Support project management activities related to website updates, testing, and functionality improvements; work with agency partners as needed.
  • Track channel and campaign performance continuously and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Support the AEO/ SEO Team in identifying discoverability opportunities and gaps, and executing guidelines and best practices.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are of high quality and any development adheres to the standards of RBC.
  • Manage maintenance process to ensure all requests are responded to in a timely manner.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing, campaign management (including campaign acquisition and conversion metrics), and website management experience.
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing channels, user experience, and digital content strategy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated data literacy and ability to translate data and insights into decisions.
  • Proven ownership mindset and accountability for outcomes.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience with the ability to build trust and navigate complexity in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize information, identify key insights, and develop compelling strategic narratives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality execution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics.
  • Experience with A/B testing and personalization tools and methodologies.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in ecommerce or digital products.
  • Experience in financial services and/or technology industries.
  • Familiarity with website analytics tools and data visualization tools such as Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, Semrush, Profound, Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Experience with CMS (Content Management Systems) and DAM (Digital Asset Management).
  • Experience applying AEO and SEO principles and best practices to improve digital discoverability.
  • Basic understanding of FTP, dev/staging/prod environments.
  • Basic HTML/CSS or web development knowledge.
