QualificationsJob Responsibilities

Serving as the point of contact for development and management of individual clients, dealing with communication, execution and reporting for the Lifecycle channel

Campaign development, management and optimization working with 8 to 10 clients at a time in varying industries.

Establish targeting strategies based on customer lifecycle segmentation & predictive analytics

Develop the email creative approach, brief clients on creation & production

Launch and QA new email campaigns on varying email service providers

Optimize existing campaigns with frequent multi-variant a/b testing of subject lines, time of send, content, etc.

Reporting, track and analyze weekly & monthly email KPI’s

Collaborate and integrate with the Paid Media, Strategy, Creative, Email and Content teams.

Present monthly reporting and insights to clients.

Participate in regular client calls and meetings.

Create and present executive summary, QBR’s, wrap up reports, seasonal and yearly plans.

Stays up to date with industry news, trends and innovations.

Job Skills

1-2 years of email marketing or lifecycle marketing experience

Stellar project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced atmosphere

Strategic thinking, prioritization skills and troubleshooting are in your DNA

Firm understanding of digital marketing principles, specifically email marketing best practices

Excellent written and verbal communication skills - comfortable with daily video conferencing calls

Experience executing comprehensive list segmentation, lifecycle drip automations and triggered events within an ESP

SMS knowledge a plus

Ability to work independently

Experience executing comprehensive list segmentation, lifecycle drip automations and triggered events within an ESP

Experience in Photoshop, copywriting, HTML is a plus

Broad understanding of email service providers, fluency in at least 1 preferred

Most used include: Mailchimp and Klaviyo

Bonus points for any CRM or Enterprise platform knowledge

Knowledge of best practices for creating optimized email templates (including responsive design), dynamic content, testing methodologies, list segmentation, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws

Experience with or understanding of web analytics (Google Analytics, Omniture or similar)

Role Based Competencies & Behaviors

Broad understanding of ESPs, fluency in at least 2 Hawke preferred systems. Knowledge of targeting strategies based on customer lifecycle segmentation, conditional logic & predictive analytics. First 30 Days — Learn & Observe

Complete onboarding and become familiar with Hawke's lifecycle processes, tools, and quality standards.

Build relationships with clients and cross-functional partners while shadowing meetings and campaign execution.

Learn each assigned client's business, goals, lifecycle strategy, KPIs, and current automations.

Begin contributing to campaign builds, QA, reporting, and client communication with guidance.

Demonstrate proficiency in Hawke's preferred ESPs and internal workflows.

Days 31–60 — Execute with Support

Begin independently managing day-to-day execution across assigned client accounts while receiving coaching.

Own campaign launches, QA, reporting, and routine client communication.

Identify optimization opportunities and contribute recommendations to improve client performance.

Build confidence presenting campaign results and participating in client meetings.

Consistently deliver work on time while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Days 61–90 — Own the Client Engagement

Independently manage a client roster, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.

Own campaign strategy, execution, reporting, and client communication with minimal oversight.

Develop proactive recommendations and testing ideas that support client goals.

Effectively collaborate with Strategy, Creative, Paid Media, and Content teams to deliver integrated lifecycle programs.

Consistently meet Hawke's expectations for client satisfaction, execution quality, and account ownership.
