The Role

We are looking for an experienced Insight Analyst with 3+ years’ experience in delivering actionable business insights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex data into clear, compelling stories that drive commercial decisions.

  • 3+ years’ experience in an Insight Analyst, Commercial Analyst, Customer Insight or similar role.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and analysing data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets, PivotTables and lookup functions.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, executive-level presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a clear story from data rather than simply reporting numbers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working across multiple data sources.
  • Experience working in a consultancy or agency environment is highly desirable, with exposure to managing multiple stakeholders or clients.
  • Comfortable balancing analytical rigour with commercial thinking and practical recommendations.

  • Analyse customer, market and commercial data to identify meaningful trends, opportunities and business insights.
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, concise recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Create high-quality PowerPoint presentations that communicate insights in a compelling and visually engaging way.
  • Develop data-driven narratives using basic storytelling techniques to influence business decisions.
  • Present findings confidently to internal teams and clients, explaining both the “what” and the “why” behind the data.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and recommend data-led solutions.
  • Use SQL and Excel to extract, manipulate and analyse data from multiple sources.
