Cluey Ltd is an established education company and the largest online tutoring provider in Australia. Through Cluey Learning and Code Camp, we help school-aged children across Australia and New Zealand make real progress - and feel more confident doing it.

We're looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist to own and scale acquisition across both brands. This is a hands-on role for someone who already runs channels end to end, thinks in outcomes rather than activity, and wants the autonomy to test, learn and grow what works.

This is a Sydney-based role with hybrid working (2 days in the office) reporting to the Head of Marketing.

What you will be doing

You'll take ownership of growth marketing across Cluey Learning and Code Camp, driving customer acquisition and continually improving marketing performance.

You will

• Own and optimise paid acquisition across the full channel mix: paid search (Google, Microsoft), paid social (Meta, TikTok), paid video and Connected TV / BVOD, YouTube, and programmatic display and retargeting.

• Grow our organic and discovery footprint: SEO (technical, content, and programmatic pages at scale), AEO/GEO (being found and cited by AI assistants), organic social, and app-store presence where relevant.

• Manage budgets across channels to hold pacing, and optimise allocation against commercial goals - CPL, CAC, ROAS and LTV:CAC - not just clicks.

• Run a constant testing program across creative, audiences, messaging, landing pages and funnels, with clean test/control methodology.

• Own conversion: copywriting and wireframing new pages, and running A/B tests to lift conversion rates.

• Partner with lifecycle/CRM (through our ActiveCampaign migration, alongside Salesforce) so acquisition and retention pull together - growth doesn't stop at the first purchase.

• Build and protect our measurement foundation: tracking integrity, attribution, GA4 and clean conversion definitions, so every number we report holds up.

• Build a term-by-term growth playbook for each subject, location, camp and course launch - and sharpen it every term.

• Grow Cluey+ subscriptions as their own product line - an AI-supported learning suite sold standalone, and the platform tutoring and Code Camp are set to converge on.

• Contribute to brand-building and reach, not just direct response - helping the brands stay top-of-mind, not only harvest existing demand.

• Report results clearly to the Head of Marketing and leadership team.

• Work closely with creative, product and the wider marketing team across both brands.

What you'll bring

You'll be a commercially minded digital marketer who enjoys taking ownership and delivering measurable growth.

• 3+ years' hands-on experience in growth or performance marketing (agency or client-side).

• Deep expertise in at least one major channel (Google Ads or Meta), and genuine range across the others - a true T-shaped marketer.

• A track record of owning paid budgets and improving efficiency at real scale.

• Strong analytical and testing instincts; you make decisions from data rather than defend them.

• Solid experience with GA4 (Google Tag Manager a plus), and a healthy respect for tracking and attribution.

• Strong sales copywriting, wireframing, and research skills.

• A commercial head - you think in CAC, ROAS, retention and enrolments.

• Sound judgement on marketing claims: you know that in education you don't over-promise, guarantee results, or lean on hype to make a number.

You'll stand out if you also have experience with:

• Experience across newer channels: Connected TV / addressable, TikTok, AEO/GEO, or programmatic SEO.

• eCommerce or subscription growth experience.

• Email or lifecycle marketing exposure.

• Experience marketing to more than one audience or across multiple brands or larger budgets.

• Experience marketing to teenagers as well as parents.

• A background in a fast-growing company, or your own venture.

• AI-augmented ways of working (highly regarded)

We're looking for someone who embraces AI as part of modern marketing, while applying sound judgement and commercial thinking.

Ideally, you'll have experience:

• Using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to improve research, campaign development, analysis and productivity.

• Leveraging AI-powered automation and workflow tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex or similar.

• Working with marketing platform integrations and APIs to streamline reporting and campaign management.

• Knowing when to automate and when human oversight is essential, particularly when managing live campaigns and marketing investment.
