Graphic Design & Digital Marketing Specialist
Celebrate The ChildrenCelebrate the Children is seeking a creative, motivated, and highly organized Graphic Design & Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. The Graphic Design & Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging visual content, maintaining and updating our website, supporting marketing and communications initiatives, and helping bring the Celebrate the Children brand to life across digital and print platforms.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities at once. Our ideal candidate is someone who takes direction well, is comfortable receiving feedback, can pivot quickly when priorities change, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team and our mission.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Creative Content
- Design graphics and visual materials for print and digital use, including flyers, brochures, advertisements, social media graphics, event materials, presentations, signage, and promotional materials, email marketing.
- Maintain consistency of the Celebrate the Children brand across all platforms and materials.
- Develop creative concepts for campaigns, events, fundraising initiatives, programs, and community outreach.
- Create engaging social media graphics and other digital content.
- Assist with photography and videography at events and school/community activities as needed.
- Help develop creative materials that showcase CTC students, staff, programs, accomplishments, and community impact.
Website Management
- Maintain and regularly update the Celebrate the Children website.
- Add and update program information, events, news, announcements, photos, forms, and other website content.
- Ensure website content is current, accurate, visually appealing, and easy to navigate.
- Assist with website improvements, new pages, landing pages, and special campaigns.
- Monitor website content and identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
- Develop and maintain a content and marketing catalog.
Marketing & Communications
- Collaborate with administration and staff to develop marketing and promotional materials.
- Support social media planning and content creation.
- Assist with email marketing, digital campaigns, newsletters, and other communications.
- Help promote school events, community events, fundraising campaigns, conferences, programs, and special initiatives.
- Work with outside vendors, printers, photographers, sponsors, and community partners when needed.
- Help identify new and creative ways to increase awareness of Celebrate the Children and its programs.
Events & Special Projects
- Assist with the design, promotion, and execution of CTC events and special projects.
- Be available to attend occasional evening and weekend events for photography, social media coverage, graphic support, and other marketing needs.
- Assist with event signage, programs, displays, promotional materials, and other on-site needs.
- Be willing to step outside of the traditional responsibilities of the position when necessary to help a project or event succeed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Web Design, or a related field preferred but not necessary.
- Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design and digital content creation.
- Experience managing or updating websites.
- Proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or comparable programs.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic photography and video editing skills preferred.
- Experience with WordPress or another website content management system preferred.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
Celebrate the Children is a dynamic organization that supports children, families, educators, and the community. The successful candidate should be comfortable in an environment where priorities can change quickly and where creativity, collaboration, and flexibility are valued.
This is not a traditional 9-to-5 creative position. The role may occasionally require attendance at evening or weekend events, special programs, conferences, fundraisers, and community activities.

A salary range is provided in accordance with New Jersey pay transparency laws. Final salary is determined using a structured salary grid, taking into account years of relevant experience and educational qualifications, and is subject to the maximum limits established by the New Jersey Department of Education and the discretion of the Board of Directors. The salary provided is for a -month contracted position.
