The New School is looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, creative individual with a Federal Work Study Award to join our Admission Communications team as a Content Creator. This position is hybrid, with required on-campus content creation, weekly in-person office time, mandatory staff meetings, and mandatory event coverage. This position is an important, integral part of Admission Communications and Welcome Center work, and essential to the success of Enrollment Management’s mission. Our Content Team members connect with and create content for prospective students, applicants, parents, and families on Instagram, ZeeMee, CampusESP, and other communications platforms. They also engage with our audiences at in-person and online events. Importantly, individual Content Creators work independently and collaboratively, contributing to a positive, enjoyable work environment.

Your work sample portfolio can include website or email design, social media strategy and design, graphic design, media editing, and/or writing samples. Candidates considered for this role will be asked to complete a creative assessment/video editing exercise. Finalists may be asked to provide references who can evaluate qualifications and overall fit for the position.
