About the team

We are a fast-scaling travel startup with strong product-market fit ($2.0M ARR and growing), a generational traveltech company looking to disturb this sleepy industry. We are two-sided: travelers get a consumer product that helps them plan and book trips, and advisors get a SaaS-style subscription with certification and qualified leads in the offer.

We're looking for the first marketing hire to join a fast-growing travel startup that's already found strong product-market fit and is now ready to scale.

This is not a role for someone who wants to manage agencies, coordinate stakeholders, or spend weeks building presentations. We're looking for a builder - someone who can launch campaigns in the morning, analyze performance after lunch, create new ad concepts before dinner, and wake up excited to test them the next day.

You'll work directly with the founder, own growth from day one, and help shape what marketing looks like as the company scales. Work-life balance can look different in a fast-moving company that's on a mission to make a real impact.

Get ready to

• Own paid acquisition across channels such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, and beyond. Ideally, at an early-stage consumer or B2B2C or B2B startup.
• Launch, manage, and scale campaigns with full ownership of performance metrics
• Create ad concepts, write copy, storyboard creatives, and produce or direct UGC-style content
• Build testing frameworks that consistently generate new creative winners
• Analyze acquisition funnels, identify growth opportunities, and improve conversion performance
• Set up and optimize tracking infrastructure, attribution, and reporting systems
• Work side-by-side with the founder on growth strategy and execution
• Help build the foundations for a future marketing team

We expect you to

• Have 2–4 years of hands-on performance marketing experience. Personally managed >$2.5m in ad spend across Meta + Google + TikTok + Reddit (at least 2, no matter which)
• Bring startup experience (employee #2 - #15), ideally in marketplace, or B2B2C businesses – (even if you have a meaningful exit on your resume, we’re building a generational company and you’ll want to be part of this, trust me ~ founder, Matas)
• Have managed meaningful advertising budgets ($300k+ per Month) and can demonstrate measurable business impact
• Be comfortable working across both media buying and creative production
• Have strong knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, CAPI, and attribution systems
• Think in terms of CAC, ROAS, LTV, conversion rates, and experimentation
• Enjoy moving fast, taking ownership, and figuring things out independently – this is key, you will work directly with a founder and sit through problems until they are solved

Bonus points for

• Have experience scaling a startup from its early stages (Seed to Series A)
• Have built your own creative testing frameworks or marketing automations
• Can shoot and edit performance-driven video content
• Follow performance marketing and growth leaders obsessively
• Have ambitions to become a future Head of Growth or CMO

Salary

Gross salary range is 5000-6500 EUR/month.
