Job Description

As our company accelerates its adoption of artificial intelligence, we are evolving into an organization powered by intelligent products, agentic workflows, and agile teams. To deliver measurable business value, we are modernizing the digital marketing ecosystem that connects customer knowledge, journey orchestration, personalization, and channel activation to create relevant, compliant, and measurable customer experiences at scale.

The Executive Director, Digital Marketing Platforms is a senior leadership role within Digital Human Health (DHH) / Digital Content & Customer Experience Capabilities (DCCE) team. This leader will define the product strategy and lead the portfolio of digital marketing platforms and capabilities spanning customer experience orchestration and digital channel operations.

Operating at a high level of complexity and cross-functional impact, this leader will connect data, orchestration, and digital channels into an integrated, AI-ready product ecosystem. You will drive major technology investment decisions and champion enterprise-wide transformations across key strategic programs, specifically our AI Acceleration efforts.

Responsibilities

· Define and drive the enterprise product strategy for Digital Marketing Platforms, translating customer and business needs into an integrated roadmap across Customer Experience Orchestration and Digital Channel Operations.

· Set strategic direction for the evolution of customer experience orchestration capabilities, including customer engagement profiles, identity resolution and authentication, consent and preference management, segmentation and targeting, marketing journey management, experience orchestration, and content personalization.

· Drive cross-functional alignment across business engagement, product management, architecture, engineering, analytics, and data teams to ensure integrated delivery of customer experience capabilities.

· Enable connected customer experiences across web, email, messaging, social, third-party platforms, and emerging digital touchpoints adhering to global standards and market requirements.

· Lead modernization, consolidation, and integration of the marketing technology ecosystem, reducing fragmentation and enabling scalable interoperability across customer data, orchestration, personalization, content, and activation platforms.

· Lead the operating model and governance approach for broader Adobe stack evolution relevant to this scope, including scalable role design, access models, enablement, and cross-product administration as capabilities expand across Adobe platform.

· Monitor the evolution of AI, customer engagement, and marketing technology trends—and translate emerging capabilities into strategic recommendations for how our platforms, operating model, and solutions should evolve to deliver greater business value, scalability, and customer impact.

· Provide thought leadership on how advances in AI, agentic workflows, and connected platform capabilities should inform product direction, roadmap priorities, and enterprise solution design across customer intelligence, orchestration, and measurement.

· Shape long-term investment priorities, roadmap tradeoffs, and resource strategy for the product line, ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and measurable business outcomes.

· Partner with senior executives and enterprise stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into an executable, scalable roadmap with clear governance, adoption, and operating discipline.

· Lead through multiple layers of leadership and/or through influence across highly matrixed teams, while shaping talent strategy, leadership capability, and organizational readiness for a more AI-enabled and data-driven operating model.

Education Minimum Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Marketing, Information Systems, Business, Data & Analytics, or related field.

Required Experience and Skills

· 10+ years experience leading enterprise-scale digital, data, marketing technology, or customer engagement product capabilities with measurable business impact.

· Deep expertise across digital marketing and customer engagement capabilities, including customer identity, segmentation and targeting, journey orchestration, and digital channel activation.

· Experience with enterprise marketing technology ecosystems such as Adobe, Salesforce, and Veeva.

· Demonstrated success setting strategy for highly complex, cross-functional capability areas with long-term business, operational, and talent implications.

· Strong business and technical acumen across connected commercial platforms, data ecosystems, and customer engagement capabilities.

· Experience leading enterprise transformation, operating model redesign, and platform modernization in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments.

· Experience aligning senior stakeholders across multiple functions and influencing strategic decisions on roadmap, governance, investment, and platform adoption.

· Strong communication and executive presence, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear strategic decisions for both technical and non-technical leaders.
