Responsibilities
- Responsible for setting the SEO vision and leading complex client relationships across a client or portfolio of brands, ensuring best-in-class strategy, execution, innovation, and team growth
- Owns the strategic direction of SEO programs and partners with cross-functional leaders to develop integrated plans, performance narratives, and growth recommendations
- Evaluates the competitive landscape, identifies emerging search trends, and translates insights into actionable strategies that drive measurable business impact
- Leads executive-level reporting, client presentations, and strategic storytelling with a focus on business outcomes, performance trends, and future opportunities
- Develops, mentors, and leads SEO team members across levels, supporting performance management, workload delegation, capability growth, and career development
- Serves as a senior SEO leader in internal and external discussions, building trusted relationships with clients, partners, and agency leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years of direct, work-related experience in search engine optimization, digital marketing, or a closely related role
- Proven ability to lead multiple complex workstreams and teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, technical SEO, content strategy, analytics, and search industry trends/current best practices
- Extensive knowledge of how SEO integrates with media, content, UX, analytics, commerce, and technology channels
- Expertise across technical SEO, content optimization, keyword strategy, information architecture, measurement frameworks, and modern on-site optimization principles
- Strong executive presence, analytical rigor, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define strategy, influence stakeholders, and guide teams toward effective action

Compensation Range: USD $121,315.00 - USD $174,300.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
