Director of Social Media

We're currently searching for a Director of Social Media to join the Cozy Earth team. The Director of Social Media will build and own Cozy Earth's social strategy across all channels. In this role, you will lead content, community, and creative across Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms. This role is equal parts strategist and storyteller, balancing brand consistency with bold, culturally tuned creative to turn social into one of our strongest growth engines.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end social media strategy across social media platforms, aligning content and channel priorities with broader brand and marketing goals
• Lead ideation, planning, and production of a high-volume content calendar, bringing a strong creative eye to concepts, formats, trends, and storytelling that fit the Cozy Earth brand voice
• Partner closely with the brand, creative, and marketing teams to ensure social content reflects brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of social media and content creators, setting clear goals and providing regular coaching and feedback
• Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and cultural moments, translating them into timely, on-brand content opportunities
• Build and manage relationships with influencers, creators, and external partners to expand reach and content variety
• Define and track key social KPIs (engagement, follower growth, reach, conversion), reporting performance and insights to leadership on a regular cadence
• Oversee community management strategy, ensuring timely, on-brand engagement with followers and customers
• Manage social content budget and resource allocation, including any paid social amplification in partnership with the performance marketing team
• Champion a test-and-learn approach, using data and performance insights to refine content strategy continually
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of social media experience with a track record of growing engaged communities on Instagram and TikTok
• A sharp creative eye with strong instincts for visual storytelling, trends, and short-form video content
• Strong collaborator who partners effectively with brand, creative, and marketing stakeholders
• Deep fluency in platform best practices, content trends, and social analytics tools
• Experience managing content calendars, production workflows, and cross-functional timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong sense of brand voice
• Experience in DTC, lifestyle, or consumer product brands preferred
