Director, Marketing Data & Analytics

The Opportunity

Nothing in this growth plan works without trustworthy data, and this role owns it. You will design and build the marketing data infrastructure and the closed loop measurement system that connects every ad click to a call, a sold subscription, and retained revenue, across web analytics, call tracking, and the CRM. Marketing Analytics sit under this seat so the funnel has one accountable owner from first touch to close, with a close working partnership with the Inside Sales organization. You will be hands-on in SQL, AI, and modeling daily while we grow the program and hire the team.

What You Will Own

  • End-to-end marketing data infrastructure while partnering closely with the inside sales team to ensure that our marketing campaigns are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Closed loop attribution from first click through call, sale, and retained subscription, integrating web analytics, ad platforms, call tracking, and CRM data.
  • The marketing attributed revenue methodology itself: durable, documented, explainable to executives, and resistant to channel bias. Will partner closely with the CMO on this.
  • The tracking foundation on www.ecoshieldpest.com: GA4, the data layer, server-side tagging, and conversion integrity, in partnership with the Director, Paid Marketing & MarTech.
  • Forecasting models Marketing runs on: qualified lead volume, sales, revenue, CAC, LTV, and funnel conversion by channel and market.
  • Executive reporting: weekly funnel, CAC, and revenue dashboards the entire company trusts and uses.
  • The analytics partnership with National Inside Sales: funnel benchmarks, lead scoring, routing analytics, and rep performance visibility.
  • Data quality and governance: definitions, QA, and a single source of truth for marketing and sales metrics.
  • Team building: as we grow the program, you will hire and develop marketing and inside sales data analysts.

What You Will Bring

Required

  • 8+ years in analytics or data roles, including 3+ years leading, with direct experience building and managing large data infrastructures.
  • Expert SQL and daily hands-on fluency with a modern data stack: Snowflake or BigQuery, dbt, and Tableau or Looker.
  • Deep digital marketing measurement expertise: GA4, ad platform data and APIs, offline conversion pipelines, and call tracking data. Will partner closely with the Director, Paid Marketing & MarTech.
  • Practical attribution experience: multi touch pragmatism, incrementality testing, and familiarity with media mix modeling concepts.
  • Experience owning a budget and vendor relationships for data and analytics tooling.
  • Executive communication skills: you make complex measurement simple, honest, and decision ready.
  • Proven experience building and managing analyst teams.

Preferred

  • Analytics experience in a marketing organization feeding an inside sales team, including telephone and call outcome data.
  • Home services and/or subscription business experience.
  • Experience as the founding analytics owner in a build from scratch or early stage environment.

Who Thrives Here

Straight talk about what this is. We are building a lead generation and online customer acquisition engine from the ground up, in an industry that has never seen one built this well. The pace will be fast, team culture will be one of winning and collaboration, and the celebrations will be exciting as we grow and hit our targets. That is exactly what makes it fun.

  • You build, you do not maintain. Your fingerprints will be on something that did not exist before you showed up.
  • Real budget, real backing. Direct line to a fully committed CMO and executive team.
  • Outcomes over activity. You will be measured on what you actually produce, and when it works, everyone will know exactly who built it.
  • It will ask a lot of you. This is not a coasting seat. The people who lean all the way in will look back on this as the most career defining work they have done.

If you want to inherit a clean warehouse and a finished dashboard, this is not the seat. If you want to build the system the whole company runs on, this is the place for you!
