Digital Marketing & Web Mgr I
Yamaha Motor Corporation, USAYamaha is seeking to fill a Digital Marketing & Web Manager I role for our facility in Kennesaw, GA. The position will create and manage an online marketing strategy, drive traffic back to the company’s website and promote our products in Yamaha joint social networks to increase the brand awareness. Will manage all functions related to support the Parts and Accessories consumer ecommerce site, micro sites, dealer support sites and electronic communications by executing updates to web content and product information via the web site admin tools as needed/directed. Will continually update data base support feeds for consumer sites. Will develop activities related to creation and development of in-house publishing of newsletters, flyers, bulletins, signage, etc.. Will continue to be up to date on emerging technologies and provide input, recommendations and opportunities in the electronic communications areas.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create and implement web/social/CRM media strategy for the Parts and Accessories division (YPAD).
- Supervise all online marketing efforts and personnel within the CSG digital team.
- Successful plane, execute and manage digital marketing efforts for all online brands, products and services to drive incremental sales and revenue as well as brand awareness/loyalty.
- Partner with Marketing Manager to create and manage brand strategies that enhance digital brand awareness that result in improved market penetration while maintaining or reducing online budgets.
- Provide YPAD specific strategic direction to contracted agencies and monitor all its activities to ensure consistency with internal programs.
- Assist with coordination and implementation Catalogs, POP, Web and Merchandise tools as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you need to be successful:
- BA/BS degree in Marketing or other related field of study required.
- 5+ years of Marketing experience
- 3-5 years of social media experience in a corporate environment supporting brand advocacy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of social media tools (Twitter, Facebook, blogs, online forums, etc.) strategies and supporting technology.
- Knowledge of third-party online marketing/measurement tools such as Radian6, Buddy Media or others is a plus.
- Knowledge of Web Design tools, (HTML and Flash), and knowledge of conventional DTP programs such as Design and Photoshop required.
- Programming capabilities preferred.
- Must be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated to drive the growth of a cutting edge consumer brand.
- Oversees work of external vendors and resources.
- Develop and execute social media and web marketing strategies which can drive business to our website/dealers and increase sales of Parts and Accessories.
- Lays out strategy for ecommerce promotions throughout the year.
