We are seeking a talented and experienced Digital Marketing Strategist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, analyzing, and optimizing based on key performance indicators (KPIs) for email and SMS campaigns in collaboration with colleagues from across the Marketing team and from the Digital team. This person will work closely with the digital marketing lead to drive successful email, SMS, and web marketing strategies.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop email and SMS marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions
  • Deploy campaigns using email marketing platforms and SMS marketing tools
  • Publish content on corporate website and customer portals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and content teams, to ensure campaign components align with overall campaign goals
  • Track and measure campaign performance using analytics tools specific to email and SMS
  • Optimize campaigns based on data and performance metrics for email and SMS channels
  • Report on KPIs and campaign success for email and SMS campaigns to stakeholders
  • Know the company’s brand, products, and customer personas
  • Deliver performance reports to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure published content aligns with user experience goals, SEO and accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Stay current on content and digital marketing best practices and techniques for creating effective and engaging content

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Work Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on email, SMS marketing, and SEO

Preferred/Desired:

  • Proficiency in website content management systems, like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) highly preferred
  • Experience using web analytics platforms, including Google Analytics and Piwik, to measure website performance, analyze user behavior, identify optimization opportunities, and inform marketing strategy highly preferred
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Dynamics and HubSpot highly preferred
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization for email and SMS campaigns
  • Knowledge of email deliverability best practices
  • Familiarity with SMS compliance regulations
  • Certifications in email marketing or SMS marketing
  • Health Care or Health Plan experience is strongly preferred
