The Digital Marketing Specialist role is responsible for managing and optimizing Arrowhead Credit Union’s public website and supporting digital platforms to improve user experience, increase qualified traffic, and drive measurable business results. The role uses data and technical expertise to identify and implement improvements; partners with internal teams, agencies, and vendors to improve digital performance and support organizational goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Personally, provides exceptional member service; uses Service Standards in every work-related interaction.
- Actively participates in meeting the goals of the department and the Credit Union.
- Work cooperatively with others as part of a formal or informal team to accomplish department and Credit Union goals.
- Provides excellent service by using a positive and professional tone to assist callers and team members accurately, thoroughly, and as efficiently as possible while maintaining consistent and friendly service.
- Uses organizational tools and techniques to complete tasks on time and successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
Service
- Manages the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and optimization of Arrowhead Credit Union’s public website and other assigned digital platforms.
- Leverages content management systems to efficiently create, edit, publish, and maintain engaging pages, valuable content, intuitive navigation, user-friendly forms, and dynamic digital assets.
- Partners with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to develop and maintain website content for products, services, and campaigns.
- Conduct regular audits of website content, functionality, and digital experiences. Ensures quality across devices, browsers, compliance, and performance.
- Implements improvements to website architecture, internal linking, and user journeys to improve usability and business outcomes.
- Utilizes web performance best practices and front-end web standards, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, to monitor site health, troubleshoot functionality, and communicate technical requirements or improvements effectively to developers and vendors.
- Keep organized records of website configurations, measurement implementations, tracking standards, vendor integrations, and digital marketing processes.
- Uses web analytics platforms to monitor and analyze website traffic, user behavior, conversions, acquisition channels, and campaign performance.
- Develops reports and dashboards that communicate digital performance, identifies meaningful trends and changes in performance, and translates findings into actionable recommendations for Marketing leadership and other stakeholders.
- Implements and maintains digital measurement and tagging solutions, including event tracking, conversion measurement, third-party integrations, and related configurations. Tests implementations to ensure data is collected accurately and consistently.
- Develops and implements search optimization strategies designed to increase qualified organic traffic and improve the visibility of Arrowhead’s products, services, and resources across traditional and emerging digital discovery channels.
- Partners with Marketing team members to identify content opportunities based on search behavior, digital discovery trends, and organizational priorities.
- Maintains a working knowledge of digital acquisition channels and understands the metrics used to evaluate their effectiveness.
- Regularly reviews paid digital media performance, identifies trends, and optimization opportunities; works with agency partners to evaluate traffic quality, cost efficiency, and determine appropriate action.
- Reviews agency and vendor recommendations critically and uses available data, business objectives, and digital best practices to evaluate proposed strategies, optimizations, and budget recommendations.
- Supports Credit Union events, community initiatives, and departmental activities as needed, including digital marketing and general event support responsibilities.

Starting Pay Rate: $74,611.11 / annually
