TITLE: Digital Marketing Specialist

REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing & Communications

STATUS: Non-Exempt; Part-Time, 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week)

LOCATION: Minneapolis; Primarily Remote; Some Onsite Work Required

COMPENSATION: $31.72/hour - $41.24/hour

Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports enrollment marketing campaigns, paid media execution, and marketing automation. This role focuses on digital campaign execution, lead nurture workflows, paid social advertising, landing pages, and performance tracking to support student enrollment and retention.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

  • Execute and manage paid social media campaigns (Meta, Instagram, etc.)
  • Execute and manage paid display campaigns (Google, Feathr, etc.)
  • Build and optimize digital ads, audiences, and retargeting campaigns across channels
  • Create and update landing pages for marketing campaigns (using existing templates and tools)
  • Execute lead nurture email workflows and marketing automation in HubSpot
  • Support CRM segmentation and audience targeting for campaigns
  • Track campaign performance and prepare reports with actionable insights
  • Support with creative production for digital ads (graphics, short video, copy) with direction given
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director/Manager on campaign execution and priorities
  • Contribute to campaign and funnel optimization through ongoing testing and iteration

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years’ experience in digital marketing, paid media, or marketing automation
  • Comfortable working independently in a part-time role
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager/Meta Business
  • Experience with Google Display or similar platforms
  • Experience with email marketing / CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere, or similar creative tools)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns
