Digital Marketing Specialists (DMS) manage email and other digital marketing initiatives which are designed to generate leads and create market awareness for the products and services that Wagner Equipment Co. and other lines of business provide to customers. In this position, you will be required to oversee all aspects of email marketing campaigns, including market research, content creation, and the dissemination of copy. As a digital marketing specialist, you will also be required to collaborate with coworkers across departments to ensure maximum uptake of offerings. To be successful as a digital marketing specialist, you should demonstrate the ability to create accessible, engaging, and memorable content.

Pay Rate: $58,743.31 - $75,842.78 Annually

Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.

Each Digital Marketing Specialists (DMS) is assigned generally as follows:

1. Cat Earthmoving Prime Cat Earthmoving Aftermarket/Trailers

2. Used/Heavy Rental/Wagner Cat Rentals/Allied Products

3. Power Systems Prime/AM/Rental/CES/Crushing and Screening

a. Supplemental tasks (ABQ Based Specialist)

i. Coordinate ordering of print materials

ii. Event Assistance

iii. Periodic Photography

4. Cat Digital Solutions/Cat Technology/Sitech/Wagner Recruitment/Cat Rewards/Cat Commercial Account. Other Duties- Print ads and print production, occasional website administration and page development.

  • Collaborate with Sales/Pertinent Managers in the completion of Marketing Request Forms.
  • Email Campaigns- Build, deploy, monitor, and report on automated email flows and customer journeys and manage an email frequency distribution plan.
  • Landing Page- Content only, construction and deployment through Web FX and Will
  • Web Site- Do your own product specific web site reviews.
  • Internal Communication- (Copy reps and managers on email campaigns)
  • Lead Tracker and other Web FX Trackers and other digital metrics
  • Produce your own collateral as needed if Cat has not already created it.
  • Collect your own customer lists. Segmenting or requesting.
  • Have your own Hubspot iteration and send your own emails.
  • Work with Marketing Data Analysts to produce a monthly email stats report and send to Chad and Tyler. Know your own Digital results by website/pages within your purview.
  • Interface with sales managers and Tyler and Chad as needed to create marketing plans.
  • Track your own coop programs for the allied product you represent.
  • Ecommerce retention marketing
  • Align marketing efforts with Caterpillar Differentiated Dealer Capabilities
  • Conceptualizing a multi-channel approach can validate campaign management through reporting on all digital channels.
  • Sales Rep Communication and materials production
  • Branch Materials Production as needed. Coordinate with DMS- Digital.
  • Be an expert on your products.
  • Lead Tracker and other Web FX Trackers and other digital metrics
  • Provide content to Sarah for social media. Review and approve content and calendar
  • Produce your own collateral.
  • Maintain archives of all produced advertising and promotional content.
  • Maintain CAT and Wagner Brand Identities in accordance with Global Advertising Framework
  • Collaborate with all Wagner departments in the development of appropriate content for departmental customer targeted email campaigns, and other digital assets based not only on Caterpillar campaign directives but also Wagner specific promotions.
  • Advise staff and management on how to best optimize their content.
  • Develop and design other web deployed media advertisements and promotions.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and manage priorities of multiple internal customers.
  • Ability to influence across the organization and work effectively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to work well in a multitasking environment with frequent interruptions, paying close attention to details.
  • Ability to apply marketing and sales concepts for the development of campaigns and promotions.
  • Conceptualizing marketing campaigns that speak directly to the pain points of existing and prospective customers.
  • Ability to collaborate with Marketing Data Analysts to better understand and use Google Analytics to help guide content priorities, content needs and determine trends.
  • Conduct AB Testing for the purpose of optimizing automated nurture campaigns.
  • Knowledge of relevant hardware, software applications, and techniques used in email marketing such as Hubspot.
  • Accountable for SEO and PPC strategy for assigned products
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • College degree required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital/email marketing and promotion
