Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist will work alongside the Manager of Digital Marketing across paid search, paid shopping, YouTube, CTV, and affiliate channels to surface insights that improve campaign performance and business outcomes. The teammate in this role will analyze campaign performance, monitor KPIs (e.g., ROAS, AOV, ARPU), and produce clear, actionable recommendations that inform channel strategy, campaign testing, and budget allocation. Reporting, research, and hands-on execution of small platform updates will be core responsibilities. This teammate will work in close collaboration with copywriters, designers, merchandising, and eCommerce teams to ensure campaigns are aligned with product availability and promotional calendars.

The role is research-driven and support-focused. This teammate will compile regular reporting, design and document A/B tests, scout new acquisition opportunities, and keep the team current on industry best practices in addition to assisting with designing seasonal campaigns and initiatives. Success in this role requires strong attention detail, and the ability to interpret and translate analytics into prioritized actions. This teammate will demonstrate a proactive mindset for surfacing risk and growth opportunities across channels.

Paid Media Performance Analytics and Reporting

  • Analyze and compile campaign performance data across platforms including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Merchant Center, Looker Studio, and channel-specific reporting tools.
  • Prepare recurring reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) including eCommerce demand, ROAS, AOV, ARPU, and other relevant metrics.
  • Monitor daily and weekly spend pacing and communicate forecast variances to management.
  • Build, update, and maintain dashboards; validate data accuracy and document platform discrepancies for review.
  • Identify performance trends and provide observations and supporting data to management and team members.

Campaign Strategy, Execution and Optimization

  • Support internal and external partners in the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across key channels including paid search, paid shopping, Performance Max, affiliate marketing, connected television, and other platforms.
  • Create, update, and maintain remarketing and prospecting audience lists across platforms.
  • Coordinate with copywriters and designers to prepare ad copy and creative assets, ensuring materials meet platform specifications.
  • Review campaign elements for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established guidelines prior to launch.
  • Compile, organize, and quality check campaign assets before launch for distribution to external partners.
  • Assist with maintaining product feed logic, rules, and documentation.
  • Implement routine updates and administrative tasks within ad platforms, reporting systems, and internal trackers.
  • Execute and document A/B tests for messaging, creative assets, and landing pages; report results to management.

Product, Audience and Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct keyword research based on product categories, seasonal trends, and promotional calendars.
  • Analyze product and campaign performance and prepare findings for management review.
  • Compile reports identifying top-performing SKUs, categories, and audience segments.
  • Partner with merchandising, eCommerce, and store operations teams to support inventory and sales initiatives.
  • Review campaign components for accuracy and consistency prior to publication.

Marketing Support

  • Research digital marketing trends, tools, and competitive activity and share findings with the team.
  • Assist in identifying new acquisition channels and business opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of digital marketing best practices and platform updates.
  • Support special projects, data requests, and ad hoc research assignments as directed.

General

  • Fulfill the mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and project tracking as required.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, marketing analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, feed management software, and/or Looker Studio preferred.
