Position Summary

You will be responsible for handling key aspects of ISPOR marketing to further the Society's mission to promote health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and their use in decision-making to improve health. Your other responsibilities include deployment of marketing emails via the email service platform (ESP); development and execution of digital marketing strategy, campaigns, and tactics; routine reporting on related analytics; supporting work for the website content management system (CMS); and other related marketing support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns including planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis, and reporting.
  • Serve as primary owner for organizational email execution-including the creation, approvals, distribution, and analysis of emails through ISPOR's ESP-and ensure compliance and best practices with the CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and email regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze data, campaign metrics, and operational email performance; recommend/implement improvements based on results; and provide weekly stats and monthly reports of email campaigns to key members of the team.
  • Execute organizational digital marketing initiatives, including digital advertisements and others that are relevant to the Society's visibility and impact in the digital space.
  • Develop key metrics/analytics and benchmarks to assess marketing and communications projects company wide.
  • Monitor Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Social Media ads; measure performance across digital marketing channels, campaigns, and website traffic; and report findings by providing a quarterly Executive Summary with recommendations for optimizing campaign performance.
  • Create, disseminate, and present data analysis and reports on website and marketing initiatives for continual improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, preferably in marketing/communications or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in marketing and/or communications preferred
  • Strong writing, proofing, and editing skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new technology platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Marketo ESP highly preferred
  • Experience with e-mail and website platforms and other marketing/communications tools such as Marketo, (or other ESP), WordPress (or other CMS), Hootsuite, and similar
  • Experience with data analytics systems/services such as Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and similar
  • Strong organization, communication, project, and prioritization skills; detail oriented, and a problem-solver
  • Experience and/or education in a science/health-related knowledge area preferred
  • Highly professional, articulate self-starter who is capable of developing and executing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a high degree of professionalism
  • Ability to gather information/data and make knowledge-based decisions

  • This position is hybrid, working both remotely and out of our physical office in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. The incumbent must be able to work in the office two days a week (Wednesday and Thursday).
  • Travel may be required, but regular business travel is not expected.

Our Location

Nestled half-way between Philadelphia and New York City, ISPOR's headquarters is in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Our staff work in a hybrid arrangement, onsite on Wednesday and Thursday.
