The Marketing and Communications department at UBC Sauder leads initiatives to build the brand and reputation of the school, both in domestic and global markets, and develops marketing and communication strategies to promote business objectives, including recruitment, student experience, fundraising and alumni and community engagement.
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the coordination and execution of various marketing initiatives that promote UBC Sauder’s programs through digital and traditional channels – with an emphasis on email marketing and lead generation digital campaigns. Focusing on content creation, planning, and alignment with business goals, the Digital Marketing Specialist ensures the seamless delivery of campaigns and event promotions to target audiences – with the intent of helping to drive conversions, engagement, and brand visibility.
Organizational Status
The Digital Marketing Specialist reports to the Marketing Manager, works within the Marketing and Communications department, and collaborates with stakeholders across various business units to align email marketing, digital campaigns, and other marketing strategies with organizational objectives.

This role requires a high level of initiative, judgment, and professionalism in prioritizing tasks and ensuring quality execution of marketing projects. Errors in the execution of email marketing or event promotion campaigns may result in decreased engagement, missed conversion opportunities, and reputational damage to UBC Sauder.
