Berkeley College is seeking an innovative, creative, and data-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to oversee the day-to-day execution of the College's digital marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for managing a digital ecosystem, including integrated campaign execution, social media management, digital advertising coordination, analytics, reporting, and emerging AI-powered marketing technologies, and website content support.

The ideal candidate is passionate about digital marketing, thrives in a collaborative environment, and combines creativity with analytical thinking to develop engaging campaigns that strengthen brand awareness, support enrollment, and drive measurable results.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day subject matter expert for Berkeley College's digital marketing ecosystem, proactively identifying opportunities to optimize campaign performance, improve user engagement, and advance institutional marketing objectives.
  • Execute integrated digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media s. channels.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, creative assets, approvals, and deployment schedules.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance content creation, campaign optimization, reporting, workflow automation, and operational efficiency.
  • Research and recommend emerging digital marketing technologies and AI solutions that improve campaign performance and audience engagement.
  • Social Media Management: Manage institutional social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar.
  • Create, schedule, publish, and optimize engaging organic content.
  • Monitor audience engagement and respond appropriately in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging social media trends and recommend innovative content opportunities.
  • Support live event coverage, experiential marketing initiatives, and campus events through digital storytelling.
  • Paid Media Coordination: Coordinate daily workflows with digital advertising and PPC agency partners.
  • Monitor campaign implementation, pacing, creative rotations, and performance.
  • Monitor digital marketing performance using Google Analytics, social media insights, and advertising platforms.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and campaign-specific performance reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, campaign calendars, and digital marketing workflows.
  • Manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines.
  • Oversee and manage Marketing and Communications Internship cohorts and part-time marketing staff
  • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000

Job Location:

  • On-site at the Woodland Park, NJ Campus.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in: Marketing, Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Qualifications:

Required

  • 2–4 years of professional digital marketing experience.
  • Experience managing organizational social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of paid digital advertising and PPC campaign workflows.
  • Experience using social media management and scheduling platforms.
  • Working knowledge of: Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Higher education marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO, website optimization, and CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative software.
  • Experience utilizing AI-powered marketing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Adobe Firefly, Google Gemini, or similar) to support content development, campaign optimization, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and responsibly implement emerging marketing technologies while maintaining brand standards, accessibility, data accuracy, and ethical marketing practices.
