Digital Marketing Manager
Mosaic BiosciencesMosaic Biosciences is a biotherapeutics drug discovery company that partners with biopharmaceutical companies to discover novel protein and antibody therapeutics. Our experienced and dedicated research teams collaborate with our partners to design, manage, and execute research programs to rapidly advance clinical candidates, starting at any point from early discovery into preclinical development. We are building our marketing function to match the pace of our science.
Position Overview:
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will run Mosaic’s digital channels and turn them into qualified leads. You own how buyers find us in search and in AI answers, how they experience our website, and how we reach them through paid media, email, and social. You will also support Mosaic's growth in Europe, working with our European business development lead to reach buyers in the region.
The best candidate is creative and analytical: a storyteller who is also fluent in web platforms, analytics, and paid media. You report on all of it and are measured on pipeline, not activity. This is a hands-on role on a two-person team. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing, Business Development, the Scientific team, and our inside sales representative.
Key Responsibilities:
Search and AI visibility
- Lead SEO strategy for mosaicbio.com: keyword research, on-page optimization, technical health, and content briefs.
- Build our presence in AI-driven search. Own answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO), and track how Mosaic appears in AI answers.
Website
- Manage and update website pages, and build new landing pages as needed.
- Improve conversion: test page layouts, calls to action, and form flow.
Paid media
- Monitor and tune running Google Ads and LinkedIn campaigns to keep cost per lead in check. Manage keywords, ad copy, and bidding.
- Coordinate paid placements with publication and media partners.
- Work with our inside sales representative to build and send campaigns and nurture sequences through Salesforce, including post-conference follow-up.
- Manage list health and segmentation and report on engagement.
Social
- Support social posting and day-to-day activity, following a strategy set by the Director of Marketing.
Campaigns and events
- Support event promotions, webinars, podcasts and content launches across digital channels.
- Partner with Business Development and the Scientific team to align campaigns with commercial goals.
- Support demand generation and conference lead capture, including a follow-up plan for each event.
Reporting and lead tracking
- Report monthly on traffic, MQLs, conversion, cost per lead, and marketing-sourced pipeline. Recommend the next move based on the numbers.
- Track every inbound lead in Salesforce from source through handoff. Bring lead status to commercial meetings to ensure follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 5 or more years in digital marketing, ideally B2B in biotech, CRO, or life sciences.
- Hands-on SEO and Google Ads experience, with results you can show, including paid campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Experience managing website pages in WordPress or a similar CMS and running email and nurture campaigns in Salesforce or a similar platform. Comfort with Google Analytics.
- Experience with AEO and GEO. This field is new, so we value strong SEO fundamentals and a willingness to test.
- Clear writing and the ability to explain technical science to a commercial audience.
- Working knowledge of GDPR and email consent rules, and comfort working with a team across US and UK time zones.
- Ownership. You spot the problem, propose the fix, and follow through while keeping several projects moving.
