About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive, self-sufficient Digital Marketing Manager who understands digital marketing and knows how to put a plan into action. This is a hands-on role focused primarily on digital marketing execution, with additional responsibility for improving the user experience across our website and e-commerce platform.

You’ll manage the day-to-day digital marketing calendar, coordinate campaigns, keep content moving, and ensure the right messages reach the right audiences at the right time. From email campaigns and LinkedIn posts to website updates, product content, and e-commerce initiatives, you’ll keep projects organized and deliverables on schedule.

We need someone who has done this work before, knows what needs to happen and when, and can move forward independently without extensive direction or step-by-step instructions. Priorities can shift quickly, and no two days will look exactly alike. You should be comfortable juggling multiple projects, anticipating what comes next, and adjusting quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

What You’ll Do

Digital Marketing Execution

  • Plan and manage a digital marketing calendar covering email campaigns, LinkedIn posts, promotions, product announcements, and other digital communications.
  • Build, schedule, and execute email campaigns and automated workflows using HubSpot.
  • Coordinate social media content and ensure campaigns and communications are delivered on time.
  • Manage website content updates, landing pages, product information, and digital promotions.
  • Support e-commerce marketing initiatives that increase online engagement and sales.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments based on results.

Website & Customer Experience

  • Manage website content and support improvements to the customer portal and e-commerce experience.
  • Identify ways to improve website navigation, product information, usability, and online ordering.
  • Ensure website content is accurate, current, and aligned with marketing priorities.
  • Work with IT, sales, and outside vendors to coordinate website and portal improvements.

Planning, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Anticipate upcoming marketing needs and prepare campaigns and content in advance.
  • Monitor email engagement, website traffic, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
  • Use HubSpot, Google Analytics, and other tools to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Organize competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adjust plans when business needs change.
  • Communicate progress, flag potential issues, and recommend practical solutions.

Who Are You

  • Proactive: You anticipate what needs to happen next instead of waiting to be told.
  • Self-sufficient: You understand the work and can move projects forward without constant guidance or lengthy explanations.
  • Highly detail-oriented: You catch errors, verify information, check links, and ensure campaigns are accurate before they go live.
  • Urgent and adaptable: You move quickly, prioritize effectively, and respond well when plans change.
  • Organized and forward-thinking: You know how to plan marketing activities in advance and maintain a consistent cadence of communications.
  • Experienced: You have done this work before and understand the tools, timelines, and processes required to execute effectively.
  • Results-focused: You use performance data to understand what works and make improvements.
  • Collaborative: You communicate clearly and work effectively with sales, IT, branch teams, and outside vendors.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience.
  • Experience planning and executing email campaigns, social media content, and digital marketing calendars.
  • Experience with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform.
  • Experience managing website content and supporting e-commerce or customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Experience with website analytics and digital campaign performance reporting.
  • B2B marketing, distribution, customer portal, SEO, Google Analytics, and content management system experience are preferred.

Success Metrics

  • Growth in qualified leads (MQLs), MQL-to-SQL conversion and marketing-sourced/influenced pipeline.
  • Email engagement, click-through rates, campaign conversions and marketing automation effectiveness.
  • Website and portal traffic, active portal usage, customer adoption and online conversion performance.
  • E-commerce sales trends, cart abandonment and improvements to the online customer experience.
  • Customer contact database completeness, accuracy and usable email coverage.
  • Vendor/MDF campaign performance, reporting timeliness and measurable return.
  • On-time campaign delivery and progress against agreed website/portal improvement priorities.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This position is primarily performed in a professional office environment and requires regular use of a computer, telephone, and other standard office technology. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, occasionally move throughout the workplace, and communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and business partners. The employee may occasionally move office materials weighing up to 15 pounds.
