Where You Come In

Plugin Boutique is seeking a highly motivated, data-driven, and creative Digital Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our email marketing and social media presence, while supporting broader omni-channel campaigns, paid advertising, and retention strategies across our ecosystem. Working in a collaborative team, you will execute core day-to-day channels, bring data-backed ideas to life, and help grow our global audience of music producers.

This role can be based either in Brighton or Farringdon working hybrid with at least 3 days in the office per week. Applicants must have UK right to work and be based in the UK and able to commute at least 3 days per week to our our Brighton or Farringdon office.

As a Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for: Primary Focus: Email Marketing & Social Media

  • Email Marketing & CRM: Draft copy, assemble, schedule, and execute regular email newsletters and promotional campaigns across brand lists.
  • Social Media Management: Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content (organic social posts, videos, graphics, and copy) across key channels.
  • Audience Engagement: Monitor social channels and email responses to foster an active, loyal community of producers and music creators.
  • Campaign Briefing: Produce creative briefs for designers and external agencies for social assets and email materials. Secondary Focus: Omni-Channel, Retention & Paid Media
  • Omni-Channel & Automation: Support email automation workflows, automated behaviour triggers, and emerging direct channels to boost customer lifetime value.
  • Audience Segmentation & Retention: Assist with RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) analysis, audience segmentation, and online personalisation to drive repeat purchases.
  • Paid Advertising Support: Assist in setting up, monitoring, and optimising targeted paid ads across platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Implement a UTM tracking strategy and deliver regular performance reports (using Google Analytics and CRM tools) on email open rates, click-throughs, social engagement, and paid ROI.

As a Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will need:

  • Experience: 1–2+ years of experience working in a digital marketing role.
  • Email & CRM Expertise: Demonstrated passion for and experience with email marketing and CRM platforms (e.g., Dotdigital, Fresh Relevance or similar).
  • Social Media Skills: Solid understanding of organic social strategy, content creation, and social management tools.
  • Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics, UTM tracking, and interpreting data to optimise campaign performance.
  • Omni-Channel Awareness: Understanding of customer acquisition, retention strategies, and automated messaging journeys.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong copywriting capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Music Interest: A genuine passion or background in music production and software is highly desirable.
