We provide emergency services such as shelter and meals to neighbors experiencing homelessness. Job Purpose
Responsible for developing digital marketing and communication strategies, plans, and materials that promote, enhance, and preserve the values, programs, and services of TRM.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops content to educate, empower, and equip the community of TRM including guests, volunteers, giving partners, and staff.
- Develops and implements digital marketing strategies and content across several digital platforms including TRM’s website content management platform (WordPress), email marketing platform (Campaign Monitor), social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube), and online form creation platform (Formsite).
- Designs materials for marketing purposes (i.e. monthly eNewsletters, social media content, forms to capture community response, landing pages and other web elements on TRM’s website, etc.).
- Collaborates with the Community Engagement team and program representatives across the Mission in order to engage the community in the work of TRM, fundraise, and communicate the stories and needs of TRM’s people and programs.
- Embodies the values that form our culture to meet the organization’s mission of sharing God’s love, hope, and support with our neighbors in need to uplift communities.
- Performs other duties as assigned to assist and support others and ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
Working Conditions
Office setting; mostly sedentary; extended computer use; subject to deadlines; flexible, high pressure and stressful situations.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent of education and related work experience.
- Excellent digital literacy (ability to navigate and quickly grasp new digital marketing platforms, design tools, and processes).
- Strong written communication skills and story-telling abilities.
- Proactive and collaborative team member with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining commitment to quality, honoring content (i.e. stories), and deadlines.
- Strong creative design aesthetic.
- Detail oriented, and resourceful.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with design programs (i.e. InDesign, illustrator, Photoshop, PremierPro).
- Experience with social media marketing or comfortability with using and engaging people on social media platforms, specifically Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Strong graphic design skills.
- Experience with photography and videography.
Physical Requirements
- Stationary position 75% of the time.
- Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Frequently positions self to maintain files in file cabinets.
- Communicates information and ideas so others will understand. Exchanges accurate information in these situations.
- Observes details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 20 pounds across office for various needs.

Salary:
- Hiring Salary Range: $27.01 - $29.72 per hour
- Full Salary Range: $27.01 - $32.71 per hour
