Basic Function:

Manage the day-to-day use of interactive, digital, and social media to engage prospective students and families in an effort to drive conversions, applications, and enrollment of future students. Reports to designated supervisor.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:

Design, implement and maintain websites that could include internet, intranet, and mobile, consistent with university branding standards.

Provide strategic direction, concept development and implementation for online projects such as banner ads and web graphics.

Assume responsibility for all digital marketing including websties, social media, email, display, etc., and reporting and analysis.

Assist with and implement compelling market and recruitment strategies across all digital media platforms to drive conversions, applications and enrollment.

Develop and manage digital media content, including websites and social media, and digital projects.

Design digital elements and coordinate production of multimedia including but not limited to graphics and video clips. Generate multiple creative design concepts to arrive at the best end product, as dictated by the project medium.

Oversee the day-to-day activities on digital media platforms and apps; and work with content providers to create ongoing calendar for posts.

Create and implement a digital media schedule and calendar, utilizing digital media monitoring tools, analytics and trend data to provide usage reports and recommendations for additional digital presence.

Create, monitor and analyze performance of paid digital campaigns including, but not limited to, targeted ads on social media, search and display.

Research and monitor peer and competitor digital media strategies, including other higher education digital media sites.

Develop and implement compelling marketing and recruitment strategies across all digitial media platforms to drive conversions, applications, and enrollment.

Collaborate with various internal and external partners (i.e., vendors, companies, and professional associations) to develop effective communication strategies and coordinate program marketing and digital media messaging.

Write various marketing content to include promotional news events.

Assist in reviewing and proofreading digital content including blogs, social media content, advertisements, and website copy.

Manage the presence of select vendor/third-part platforms/applications and investigate emerging platforms/applications and make recommendations.

May supervise students as assigned.

Ensure website and design elements meet all University standards.

Take photos as needed.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, web development, computer science, or related field. Two years managing digital marketing platforms and web content systems or related experience.

License/Certification:

Knowledge Of:

Marketing and communications principles, specifically in digital platforms *

Digital marketing and CRM systems, with a demonstrated ability to learn new systems *

Data management best practices *

Higher education culture and organization

Business processes, including CRM, project management, tracking, data analytics, and technology *

Budgeting, strategic planning, and cost analysis *

Skill In:

Written and interpersonal communication *

Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other applicable software *

Project management and system implementation *

Organizing information and projects

Adhering to deadlines *

Website design *

Ability To:

Interact and communicate with senior level university administrators

Provide attention to details and creativity to web presence

Work independently and as part of a team

Provide positive leadership and direction *

Manage people and projects *

Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:

Master's degree in a relevant field.
