Everytown’s Digital Advocacy team is seeking a part-time, temporary digital professional to assist with email and SMS production throughout the 2026 election cycle. The ideal candidate will be available to work 15 hours a week, predominantly in the afternoons.

Anticipated Dates of Employment: September 1 – November 10, 2026

Pay Rate: $50 / hour

Hours: 15 per week

In this role, you will be:

  • Loading and proofing ActionKit emails on behalf of both the Advocacy and Supporter Growth & Cultivation teams
  • Monitoring and replying to responses in our Ascend SMS inbox on behalf of both the Advocacy and Supporter Growth & Cultivation teams
  • Drafting some Advocacy-related email and SMS, as needed

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 1+ year experience building advocacy emails in ActionKit or a similar CRM
  • 1+ year experience building advocacy SMS broadcasts in Ascend, MobileCommons, or a similar platform
  • Some familiarity with c3, c4, and PAC entity guidelines and their implications
  • Exceptional copywriting, copy editing, proofreading, and communications skills
  • Excellent project management skills and a proven ability to thrive under tight deadlines
