Our Imaging & Diagnostics service is central to delivering outstanding patient care, providing high quality diagnostic imaging that supports timely clinical decision making and treatment planning. Equipped with advanced CT and MRI technology, the department is committed to delivering exceptional clinical standards in a patient focused environment.
Working closely with consultants, referrers, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams, the service provides a comprehensive range of cross-sectional imaging examinations across a variety of clinical specialties. Patient safety, diagnostic excellence, and a compassionate approach are at the heart of everything we do.
About the role
As a Cross Sectional CT/MRI Radiographer, you will play a vital role in delivering a first class diagnostic imaging service, providing high quality CT and MRI examinations while ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
You will be responsible for performing a range of cross-sectional imaging procedures safely and effectively, working within established protocols and professional standards. You will support patients throughout their imaging journey, ensuring they feel informed, reassured, and comfortable at every stage of their visit.
Working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will demonstrate excellent clinical judgement, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of image quality and patient safety. You will also contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the department through compliance with governance requirements, equipment quality assurance processes, and accurate documentation.
This role is ideal for an experienced radiographer who is passionate about imaging, committed to continuous professional development, and dedicated to delivering outstanding patient centred care in a modern and progressive clinical environment.

About you
You are a qualified HCPC registered Radiographer with experience in CT, MRI, or both, and a strong commitment to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate patient care. You are confident working in a busy clinical environment and take pride in producing high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining excellent patient experience standards.
You combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills, enabling you to support a diverse range of patients with professionalism, empathy, and reassurance. You have a thorough understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and imaging best practice, and you are committed to maintaining your professional knowledge and skills through ongoing development.
A proactive and collaborative team member, you work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You demonstrate attention to detail, sound clinical judgement, and a commitment to continuous improvement, helping to ensure the highest standards of care and service delivery.
