Job Title: Copywriter

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Copywriter to join our marketing team. In this role, you will write clear, persuasive, and compelling copy for our digital and print channels. Your main goal will be to engage our target audience, elevate our brand voice, and drive customer action. The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller who can transform complex concepts into simple, impactful messages.

Core Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Write high-converting copy for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, paid social media ads, and print materials.
• Brand Voice Maintenance: Adopt, refine, and enforce our brand voice guidelines across all marketing touchpoints.
• Collaboration: Brainstorm and collaborate with graphic designers, art directors, and marketing strategists to execute creative campaigns.
• Research & Strategy: Research our target audience, competitors, and industry trends to write copy that directly addresses customer pain points.
• Proofreading & Editing: Review, edit, and proofread content for flawless grammar, punctuation, style, and tone.

Qualifications & Skills

• Veteran preferred
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating creative concepting and writing samples across digital and print mediums (required).
• Experience: 1–3 years of professional writing experience (agency or in-house experience preferred; strong spec portfolios considered).
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail.
• Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, pivot quickly based on feedback, and meet tight deadlines.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SEO best practices and experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience or portfolio school credentials will be fully considered in place of a degree.

Compensation

• $65,000 - $95,000 annually (depending on experience)
