Along with our US partner Reservoir Media, we own the legendary Chrysalis and Tommy Boy catalogues, and we also represent artists through our management arm Blue Raincoat Artists, and publishing via Blue Raincoat Music Publishing.
The Position
In this role, you’ll support the Digital Marketing Manager in managing the digital presence of the Blue Raincoat Artists roster and wider Blue Raincoat Music Group. You’ll work across websites, wiki pages, Google Knowledge Panels, advertising access, platform metadata, and digital growth tracking, ensuring every artist touchpoint is accurate, current, and optimised.
You’ll work closely with artist managers, their teams, artists, labels, and external partners, as well as our social and content agencies, which manage day-to-day social output. You’ll monitor digital performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide regular insights to the Digital Marketing Manager, while supporting the wider marketing teams to ensure our artists are effectively represented and discoverable across digital platforms. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Own the accuracy and upkeep of each artist’s website, wiki page, and Google Knowledge Panel, ensuring information is correct, current, and reflective of each artist’s brand.
- Manage advertising platform access and account requests across the roster, including Meta, Google, TikTok, and other platforms, acting as the point of contact for administration and permissions.
- Coordinate platform updates, including press shots, bios, banners, and cover art, ensuring the correct assets are live and consistent across streaming platforms, social channels, and websites ahead of key moments.
- Own lyric and metadata optimisation across DSPs, including Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms, ensuring lyrics, credits, and other metadata are correctly submitted and set up to support discovery.
- Track digital growth across the roster, including streaming, social, and search, identifying significant changes and investigating the factors driving performance.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to connect platform and growth data with CRM, pre-sale, and fan data activity, helping build a complete picture of what is driving performance.
- Act as a quality-control check across outward-facing digital assets and content delivered by external social and content agencies, identifying factual errors, broken links, and inconsistencies before they go live, and flagging issues quickly when incorrect content has already been published.
- Brief and manage relationships with external social and content agencies, ensuring their output aligns with each artist’s strategy and brand, without owning day-to-day content creation or posting.
- Partner with the marketing team to brief external agencies on digital advertising, providing insights from platform and growth data to inform campaigns.
- Stay up to date with platform discovery mechanics, including algorithm changes, DSP editorial processes, and search behaviour, identifying opportunities to strengthen the roster’s digital presence.
- Build strong working relationships with artists, their teams, the wider Blue Raincoat Artists team, agencies, and platform contacts, ensuring digital activity remains aligned with each artist’s identity, audience, and wider strategy.
