  • Support storytelling around key organizational moments, including promotional games, community initiatives, player milestones, alumni programming and other priority campaigns.

  • Collaborate with the Content & Digital Media team to identify editorial priorities and contribute story ideas throughout the season.
  • Write and edit content for Ottawa67s.com and other 67’s-owned channels as required.
  • Ensure content is accurate, engaging and consistent with the 67’s brand standards.
  • Meet established deadlines while balancing longer-form features with timely storytelling opportunities.

What’s needed:

  • Completion of or current enrolment in post-secondary education in journalism, communications, marketing or a related field is considered an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a broader content and marketing team.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Previous writing, journalism, communications or digital content experience is considered an asset, including professional experience, student journalism, freelance work or other published writing.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends based on the Ottawa 67's schedule.
