Polysciences is looking for a Content Marketing Coordinator who can combine creative thinking with analytical curiosity. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys developing content and is equally interested in understanding why it performs: what captures an audience’s attention, what helps someone evaluate a complex product or capability, and what the results should change about the next piece of content. Content marketing via web, organic social, and video will account for a large part of this role. As part of a small, high-impact marketing team, this person should enjoy exploring scientific topics, bringing forward ideas, coordinating different types of projects, and providing hands-on support when priorities extend beyond content.

Essential Functions: Fundamental and critical tasks, duties, and responsibilities necessary for position to be performed effectively.

Maintain the multichannel content calendar and suggest topics, formats, messaging approaches and distribution ideas based on audience needs and defined marketing priorities.

Partner with the Senior Director of Marketing, subject-matter experts, and other cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and develop accurate and useful content for scientific B2B audiences.

Research topics, audience needs, search behavior, industry developments, competitor activity, and business priorities to identify relevant content opportunities.

Create, edit, refine, and publish content across formats and channels, including but not limited to static and video social content, website pages, sales enablement materials, and email.

Support organic social channel management, including post scheduling, basic audience engagement and coordination of timely responses with appropriate internal stakeholders.

Ask thoughtful questions and translate complex technical information into clear, audience-appropriate content while maintaining accuracy and relevance.

Maintain recurring content and channel reporting across digital channels to identify meaningful patterns and develop informed hypotheses and recommendations for content optimizations and/or tests.

Manage assigned projects, timelines, reviews, approvals, and dependencies while anticipating the next steps needed to keep work moving.

Stay current on developments in content marketing, audience behavior, SEO, social media, and AI-supported marketing workflows while bringing forward relevant ideas and opportunities for the team to consider.

Use AI tools to support content development and workflow efficiency while evaluating output for accuracy, originality, technical depth, and audience fit; independently refine output and help improve prompts, templates, and quality checks.

Execute content updates that support SEO, AEO, and GEO while providing support for broader marketing priorities across a small, collaborative team.
