Job Description:
The Content Creator & Social Media Manager owns the day-to-day content and social media presence for both our distilled spirits brand and our on-site visitor experience. This hands-on role develops strategy, builds content calendars, captures and edits photography and video, writes copy, publishes content, engages audiences, and evaluates performance.
This position manages two distinct account groups across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, plus a shared YouTube channel: @jriegerco, focused on our spirits portfolio and brand storytelling; and @visitjriegerco, focused on driving awareness, attendance, and revenue for bars and restaurants, tours and tastings, ticketed and private events, retail, and seasonal programming.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute distinct social media strategies for the Main and Visit accounts that support brand, marketing, hospitality, and revenue goals.
- Own the social media process from content planning and creation through publishing, community engagement, and performance reporting.
- Build and maintain content calendars aligned with product launches, limited releases, ticketed events, seasonal programming, hospitality priorities, and broader marketing campaigns.
- Create, capture, and edit original photography and video featuring spirits, cocktails, production, team members, hospitality spaces, tours, events, guests, and the distillery campus.
- Produce platform-specific content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, including Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and longer-form video when appropriate.
- Develop creative concepts, shot lists, storyboards, captions, and calls to action while maintaining an accurate, consistent, and recognizable brand voice.
- Capture real-time content during select events, activations, launches, and other timely opportunities while staying current on platform changes, trends, and emerging formats.
- Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages, mentions, tags, and guest inquiries while proactively engaging followers, community partners, creators, influencers, and brand advocates.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, hospitality, events, production, retail, and company leadership to gather information, coordinate outside creative support, and meet campaign deadlines.
- Maintain an organized and accessible content library and track key performance indicators, using actionable insights to strengthen future content and campaigns.
- Ensure all public-facing content is accurate, proofread, appropriately approved, and consistent with company standards.
Schedule, Compensation, And Benefits:
- Standard business hours with occasional evenings and weekends.
- Starting salary of $60,000–$65,000, plus overtime compensation as required by law.

Required Experience:
- Three or more years of experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio of photography and video content; hospitality, lifestyle, or brand-focused experience is preferred.
- Experience managing multiple social media platforms with measurable growth or engagement results.
- Proficiency with content-creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms.
- Experience with analytics platforms such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Passion for hospitality, food and beverage, and brand storytelling.
Physical Requirements And Work Environment:
- Ability to remain in a stationary position and operate a computer, mobile device, camera, and other content-production equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to move throughout offices, hospitality spaces, event areas, production areas, and the distillery campus.
- Ability to set up, position, and operate photography, video, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Ability to occasionally bend, reach, crouch, climb stairs, and lift or carry equipment and materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments that may include crowds, loud noise, low-light conditions, uneven surfaces, production activity, and variable temperatures.
