The Office of Civic Engagement and Social Justice (Lang CESJ) is situated within the Dean’s Office at Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts as social justice serves as the ethical cornerstone of a liberal arts education. CESJ serves as a hub, creating opportunities for students to bridge their social justice passions with their academic pursuits and build community with others dedicated to leading social justice-centered lives. CESJ programs take the form of "learning communities," composed of students, faculty, staff, and community partner organizations throughout New York City.
