Business Insights Analyst

Summary/Objective

The Business Insights Analyst will create and analyze monthly point of sale reports and work closely with account managers to create sales presentations. The right candidate will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and demonstrate the ability to deal with ambiguity and show flexibility.

Essential Functions

• Create andanalyzeregular monthly POS andconsumerpanel reports andpresentations to supportaccountmanagers andsales leadership team.

• Synthesize external trends with internal datain evaluating the best strategic course of action.

• Work closely withaccountmanagers to deliver insight-drivensales stories to help increase distribution and salesgrowth.

• Monitor the results ofdistribution gainsand promotional strategiesby evaluating performance in relation tocategory share and volume growth.

• Evaluatecategorytrends and become an expert on thetea andjuicecategories.

• Develop a knowledge base onmajorbrands,packs,items,flavorsat a national and regional level.

• Learn and understand theretail landscape and themajor differences amongmultioutletretail channel environments.(Food, Drug, Mass, Club,etc.)

• Other duties may be assigned, asneeded,orrequired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business,economics, marketing,accounting, finance or related fieldor minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analytics.
• Analytical,evaluative,and data-driven mindset
• Ability to multi-task
• Detail oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with IRI or Nielsen POS data a plus
• Strong KnowledgeofMSOfficeapplications(Excel andPowerPoint)

• Pivottables
• Charts andgraphs
• V-Lookup, etc.
