About the team you are joining

We

are looking for an Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing to lead the execution,

optimization and performance management of IATA’s paid digital marketing

activities across Products and Services. This role will translate marketing

strategies and customer journeys into effective online campaigns that generate

awareness, engagement, leads and online sales.

Reporting

to the Manager, Digital Marketing and working closely with the Senior Manager,

Digital Marketing Operations along with the Content Marketing and Marketing

Automation teams, you will oversee paid media planning and execution across

multiple channels, ensuring campaigns are targeted, measurable and continuously

optimized. The role will also support the development of a scalable,

data-driven digital marketing approach and help maximize the return on IATA’s

digital media investment.

What your day would be like

  • Lead the planning, execution and optimization of paid media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta, LinkedIn and other relevant digital channels.
  • Translate marketing objectives, customer profiles and journey stages into effective full-funnel digital campaigns aligned with online sales and lead-generation objectives.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop a unified media plan, audience strategies, campaign briefs and activation plans.
  • Manage campaign targeting, audience segmentation, bidding, budgets, creative formats and conversion tracking to maximize performance.
  • Monitor campaign performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, conversion, lead quality and return on investment.
  • Use web analytics and campaign data to provide regular performance reporting, benchmarking and actionable recommendations to Marketing leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure digital campaigns are connected to broader CRM, automation and customer journeys in collaboration with Marketing Operations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, agencies and external partners to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery.
  • Identify and test new platforms, formats, audiences and approaches to expand IATA’s digital footprint and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of standardized digital marketing processes, templates and best practices that can be scaled across IATA’s Products and Services portfolio.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, paid media or performance marketing, ideally in a B2B environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and LinkedIn.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing funnels, audience segmentation, conversion tracking and attribution.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Demonstrated experience optimizing campaigns against performance objectives such as ROAS, conversion rates, lead quality and cost per acquisition.
  • Experience using web analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics. Experience working with marketing automation, CRM, email marketing, SEO and social media is an asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Google certifications or other digital marketing certifications is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn campaign data into clear recommendations.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with Marketing, Product, Sales and external partners.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong interest in leveraging technology and AI to improve marketing effectiveness.
