Our client are an Aerospace Manufacturing business and they are seeking a Social Media Specialist whose overall purpose will be to manage the social media platforms in order to boost brand awareness, customer and stakeholder engagement. As a Social Media Specialist you will be managing the online presence by making relevant changes to the existing strategy or developing a new strategy, producing content, analysing the data/ results and managing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working on developing and actively using social media platforms
  • Developing engagement to reap the benefits across talent acquisition, internal communication, external image, sales etc.
  • Develop and lead social media plans and strategy
  • Work closely with the Communications Director and other managers in the business to ensure the vision for projects is fully articulated, accurate and compelling
  • Create and implement consumer and employee facing campaigns
  • Project manage all campaigns, ensuring they are delivered accurately, on time, every time
  • Monitor online activity and presence using a variety of tools
  • Analyse and report everything you do, look at the ROI, highlight success stories and assess the areas of the campaign that did not go according to plan.

Skills/ Qualities

  • Proven experience of managing projects/ campaigns
  • Must be familiar with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc)
  • Budget management skills
  • Worked for/ with large organisations - ideally Manufacturing however not essential
