Job Title: Senior Social Media Manager

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Social Media Manager to own our consumer-facing social presence across owned, earned and paid social. This is a high-profile position which will place you at the centre of setting Social Media strategies for Holland & Barrett; redefining our social landscape, anticipating future trends and building social communities to drive channel, revenue and brand growth.

The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and leading the activation of the social media strategy. You will develop a social engagement strategy for all social media channels to build communities, considering business and brand objectives. This is not your average Social Media role; we are looking for a true social trailblazer.

You will create a new era of social media for Holland & Barrett and be accountable for driving unprecedented growth in engagement and loyal followers.

Owning the social media strategy and execution across social media platforms, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube etc.
Responsibility and accountability for the success of Holland & Barrett's social presence, ensuring each channel delivers on set KPI's.
Creating and maintaining a monthly social media calendar for each platform, leveraging market trends, social listening, brand marketing and business objectives to maximise relevance of storytelling to drive engagement, reach, and follower growth
Develop and build the Social Team to create a team of experts across Organic, Paid, Influencers and content creators.
Maintaining a direct relationship with social media platform representatives
Managing the social media budget to maximise ROI and achieve business plans
Regular reporting and campaign analysis
Defining framework and tool requirements for social listening and sentiment monitoring.
Overseeing briefing of social media copy, usage of hashtags, and alignment with brand tone of voice
Overseeing the execution of social community management and moderation, in collaboration with the Customer Service team.

The Person

A social trailblazer with 8+ years' experience in social.
Huge ambition to drive growth, with a passion for health, beauty and wellness.
In house experience preferably within the retail industry
Proven track record developing and implementing social strategies for well-known brands
Proven history of exceeding targets and delivering profitable growth.
Extensive knowledge of the major social media channels and management platforms
Detailed understanding of social and content analytics tools and processes
Understanding of the technical landscape of social platforms (impact of algorithm changes etc)
Experience presenting to a wide range of audiences and ability to communicate at both a detailed, technical level and a senior, strategic level
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience working in a cross functional capacity
