£26,000 (£55,000 OTE)

My client is an emerging FMCG based business consistently introducing innovative and impactful products to the market both in the UK and globally. They have an exciting opportunity to join their commercial team in a Sales & Marketing capacity.

You will be an enthusiastic and energetic candidate with a proven track record of generating commercial opportunities from the FMCG sector or any transferable industry. You will be hard-working, ambitious and motivated with a passion for food and the confidence required to go out and hunt for new business

The objective of this role will be to devise an effective sales strategy to support you in targeting prospective clients and formulating new commercial partnerships both in the UK and in the US, Middle East and Europe. You will use traditional business development methods and techniques as well as ongoing account management and account development of key clients; introducing new product ranges and promotions to aide you in achieving your targets

Job Duties:

* Bringing on new business clients across export
* Generating new opportunities using a variety of methods
* Networking and building relationships
* Providing customers with quotations
* Delivering sales targets
* Working in partnership with marketing to ensure in-store marketing, promotions and wider brand awareness campaigns are aligned
* Making sure for relevant accounts in-store marketing, promotions and wider brand awareness campaigns are aligned
* Report into NAM with commercial forecasting process on monthly basis
* Account managing clients for repeat business
* Introducing new product ranges and promotions to existing clients
* Attending trade shows, events and exhibitions to demonstrate products

Person Specification:

* Demonstrable experience in the FMCG sector or similar is essential
* Proven track record of generating new business is essential
* Strong relationship management skils
* Experience of devising an effective sales strategy and growing market share
* Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised
* Personable, professional and outgoing
* A passion for food
* Clean drivers licence and car are required
